2nd Worst Loss in Bills History!! Only wide right was worse!

This was obviously one if the greatest games in NFL history and I thought losing on the Hail Mary to the Cardinals ripped my heart out but this is something on a whole new level.  So much worse than even MCM because the winner of this game was going to win the Super Bowl (and likely wins it)!!  This was our chance now!!

Love Josh and his heart!!  Did everything he could!

It's such a tough way to lose and it's going to be a long off season of what if's!!

We'll be back though!!

Go Bills!!!

Worst loss since the Throwback game.  Have to wonder what the plan was with 13 seconds left.  It's never over until its over.

You only get so many chances in the NFL. McDermott just lost us a SB win. Beane did nothing to help the team during the year.  Rams bring back Weddle to help them win. We put a 7th round CB on the field to replace White.

McD and Beane cost us a championship

This doesn't have anything to do with Beane.

It's one of the worst losses in our history for multiple reasons. The gravity of the situation (I do believe the winner goes to play for the SB). The insane multiple comebacks only to fall short. Left to wonder what else can we possibly do? What is the learning experience from this game for next year? How the hell do we beat KC? Plus you just wanted to for Josh and our team so bad. Just to get over the damn hump. This was as bad a MCM. In both games we took the lead with about the same amount of time and lost.

It doesn't?  Beane is the one that signed or drafted all those DL that couldn't make one dam tackle. He did nothing to help the team after White went down.

Allen is a superstar and we should have won it all this year

There were 13 seconds left.  What does the last 13 seconds of a game we should have won have to do with Beane?

Aside from Ed Oliver, our pass rushers were "Jerry Sullivan" embarrassing tonight. So pissed and feel terrible for Josh. The coaches also failed mightily tonight. Seriously,  13 seconds?

* I was at Wide Right and watched it sail... wide right! That was, at the time, a long shot 47 yard FG. Felt terrible, but it was simply a great game that the Bills lost.

* Ronnie Freakin’ Harman... ok... watched unfortunate clang for Ronnie on TV, but the Bills weren’t gonna win the SB that year!

* The Music City FUBAR... the previous #1... heartbreaking, last second loss in a Playoff game. But only a prelim round, with limited talent.

*  THIS, THIS IS FAR, FAR WORSE! The SB was being played between the best 2 teams left! Like magic, BOTH Conference #1s had already been eliminated!

The BEST Offence in the NFL, playing at HOME to play a secondary team in the SB... lost in 13 seconds from 80 yards away!

Simply, IMPOSSIBLE and all on the HC!

Hey man, I'm a Red Sox fan.  Entire generations of Red Sox fans came and went and it was the same old same old.  No guarantees with this stuff!

I'll take losing in the playoffs in arguably the greatest playoff game in NFL history over all the losing this franchise did in the 15 years prior to Josh Allen showing up....the Bills will get there and win....Josh Allen is too good not to win.

That was all coaching.  Squib/pop up kick would have run some time off the clock and then they simply should have tackled every Chief receiver and allow several seconds to run off the clock and give up a 5 yard penalty. Mahomes would have had 1 play from his 30ish.

Watching the Rams go and add talent year after year, to "mortgage their future" yet they do it year after year. Cap is easily manipulated. Josh will be 26, proven he has what it takes, you can't waste any more years not going all in. Josh has 4 years of elite rushing left. His arm will keep him at the top but his running ability is his x factor now.

Lots of talent became available through out the year, but we stood pat all year.

Definitely frustrated as most are after a loss.

I know the team gave it their all, this one will sting a lifetime.

Go bills.

Increase pressure on the quarterback.

That, and forcing turnovers (the two usually go hand in hand). Both QBs happened to play perfect football against each other, we just happened to have a DC and HC who turtled at the worst time. Great game, disappointing end to the season.

That's what I'm saying and I'm in my 30s. I'm still pretty speechless regarding this game.  Ya we should be back but ya never know.

Where in Jersey you from? Do you go to any Backer bars?

I’m from Kearny (live on Long Island now) and I don’t really know any bars as I don’t go to any. 😁

Hail Murray isn't even a blip on the radar.

I have no idea why some fans get so bent out of shape over that.

Just a guess but I think it’s because they made two commercials featuring it and they were in such heavy rotation.

I’m shocked that wide right was a surprise to older fans. Norwood missed extra points on the regular and had notable misses in major games.

Hail Murray was no big deal.  Fluke regular season loss on the way to 13-3.  I was over it by the time I went to bed.

I don't think I'll ever get over this one.  I'm still mad about homerun throwback.

Unspeakably brutal.

I just remember my emotions of up and down with that game.  The Bills are a Superbowl team and likely win next week and likely favored to win the Superbowl.  This feels like the wide right SB loss.  Same feeling for me!  We blew it and gave it away!
