Week 17, Falcones v. Bills, 01/02/22 - GAME BALLS

Josh gets his automatic game ball.  Recovered from a terrible first half to lead the Bills to victory.

Devin "Motor" Singletary - Featured in the 2nd half, scored 2 TD's rushing and ran for over 100 yards.  Best player on the field today by far.

OL - Much maligned, the OL gave Josh time to throw and opened up holes for Motor, Moss, and Josh, allowing them to run wild all over the Falcones.

Stefon "They Call Me Mr." Diggs - Every time the Bills needed a clutch catch, it seemed he was there.  We'll excuse the drop of Josh's fastball in the EZ from 10 yards out, just unfair.

Greg "Groot" Rousseau - Strip sack of Matty Ice early set the tone.  He continued to pressure Matty Ice all day long.

Harrison "Horrible Harry" Phillips - Sackmeister today, he set up shop in the ATL backfield and made Matty Ice's day a living hell.

Defensive Backfield - Outside the Pitts 61-yard completion, kept the ATL passing attack locked down under 200 yards and held them to 13 points.

Motor/Moss. These guys are becoming an effective one-two punch with barely mediocre (if that) blocking from the O-line. And Moss is spectacular in pass-pro.

Horrible Harry. He is looking like the legit one tech we all wanted him to be.

Ed Oliver. He’s hitting it. No more “bust” talk.

D-line rotation. The hallmark of the McD/Frazier defense is working the way it’s supposed to.

O-line. It’s impressive that these guys maintain the chemistry they do, while getting subbed, and moved around so much. Their run game, while somewhat improved, still sucks. But, they’ve been keeping Allen upright. No sacks today.

Motor and the O-line.

I know Josh's stats looked terrible, but 2 of the picks were tipped balls. Once they realized the running game was working, there was no reason to keep putting the ball in harm's way. Josh was great with his legs today.

20 minutes ago, Coach Tuesday said:

Oliver has become a star.

That 3 play series after Allen's last pick where he pushed Atlanta out of FG range with two plays for losses and a forced incompletion totally flipped this game.

OLine was awesome today! Their best game, by far. Lots of time to throw for Josh, lanes opened.

Singletarry also made a few great cutbacks away from his blockers for big gains.

Phillips has been a quiet steady force on defense for a while now.

In a game that Josh had a bad stretch passing, isn't it awesome he can run it himself, and that team could run it?
