cwater10
Such a great memory! I was at one of those delayed Christmas celebrations for family that had been traveling during Christmas. This was a family that I had just married into the previous year. They were not familiar (yet) with my Bills intensity. Whey Boyd scored, they thought I was having a breakdown and ready to call for emergency services. Good times! 5
Sammy Watkins' Rib
Man I was so hungover the next morning. New Years Eve AND the Bills broke their 17 year drought. Bad combo. 2

My sons and I were glued to the TV (obviously). We went from disappointed resignation heading into that fourth down play ("same old Bills...") to screaming jubilation after it was over. My sons were 17 and 15 at the time and had never seen the Bills make the playoffs. I was happier for them than for myself and was overcome with emotion. It was like an 800 pound gorilla had been ripped from our backs. Thank goodness they have been able to witness a good and competitive team ever since. Needless to say, that was a GREAT New Year's Eve celebration. 43 minutes ago, Hapless Bills Fan said: If only we had someone like Kyle Williams today I still miss your Kyle Williams avatar every time I read one of your posts. TailgateChef
Wow, 4 years. My girls are 6 and 9 now. That was the moment they became Bills fans. They've pretty much only known decent Bills teams (playoffs in 4 of 5 years - yes, I'm counting this year).

SoCal Deek
A classic series of texts between me and my son in law that day: First…”Dalton stinks!” And then just a few seconds later…”Andy Dalton is the best QB EVER!” I’ll never forget it…smiling from ear to ear the rest of the night.
Let's Go Buffalo
Amazing memory! I remember I was in the middle of playing a board game with my son while watching the Cincy/Baltimore Game, and when Tyler Boyd scored that final touchdown, I think I shouted so loud that I scared my son and my neighbors.....Good stuff! Baba Booey
It was an awesome day of football. One of the best I’ve ever witnessed. I’ve never rooted so hard for any other football team as I did for Cincinnati that day. My wife was pissed because I wouldn’t leave the TV till it was over. We had dinner reservations for Nee Years that night. Side note… we made it on time!

Go Bills! If I dare put words in Shaw’s mouth, it will only depend on if the Bills win a Super Bowl by a last second, 4th down magical play to equal the thrill of that moment. Most SBs are determined way earlier in the game. Should we ever win one, we’ll glow for the remaining minutes of the game and REJOICE at the end, but I doubt it will be this euphoric.. jmo.

Livinginthepast
One of the greatest moments in my Bills fandom. It was truly awesome. My young son laughed and was in awe as I went completely nuts in our hotel suite in Florida. My wife and other son were just chilling in the other room and were scared something had happened. What a glorious feeling it was ! I had left my Bills gear at home for the vacation and I immediately went out looking for some in Orlando the day after New years. Not surprisingly Nobody had any hats or anything Bills as they had been such losers for 17 years!
