The Bills control their own destiny

Absolute joke of a non call on Diggs there.

That was a huge 2nd half spark for our team on both sides of the ball. I hope they carry that over to a 4 game win streak. If we play like that 2nd half the entire way out, sky is the limit.

It’s sad really that one officiating screw job in one game can pretty much sink a teams whole season

The refs did not sink us.....we sunk us.

I agree...the Bills should have been brave to make the same throw they did to get TD for Davis and Knox.  They played conservative in that last 45 seconds of regulation

I think the fact that the Bills didn’t show up the entire first half has far more to do with the loss today than any bad calls from the refs later on. But yes the refs sucked. They always do against us. But we didn’t show up.

They don’t control their own destiny though. Pretty sure that they need help from other teams. IOW, they need the cards to fall "just right" for them to get in, even at 11-6. Correct me if I'm wrong....

5-0 , wecare guaranteed in (potential division title)

4-1 about 70% , we control our destiny

You are incorrect unfortunately.   There is a scenario where the Bills go 11-6 and still miss out.  Sorry 😞

This whole concept of controlling their own destiny is just wrong. It's to assume that the Bills would win because they choose to and to no regard to the opponents desire to win that same game. So, NO, they don't and never do. That's why games are played.

Bet you had the same vibe at 7-6 in 21

Root for Kansas City big over GB this weekend.  You don’t want KC coming in off a loss to play the Bills.

KC will want to deliver a knock out punch against the Bills as a victory over the Bills will likely knock them out of the playoffs. Unfortunately this team has shown they aren’t capable of going on a run this season. The coaching blunders and self inflicted mistakes IMO are just going to be too much to overcome. While I want them to do it, I think it’s more likely they finish 9-8. The losses to NYJ, NE, Den and Philly were just atrocious losses. The D gave up 30 points after halftime! 30 freakin points!

The bills have only strung together a 3 game winning streak this year, and fans are expecting them to go on a 5 game run against the most difficult remaining schedule in football?  Delusional thinking.  One game at a time, just don’t see it happening with the previous conference losses to the jets NE and the Jags already.

After looking at remaining schedules 11 wins is a WC, maybe 10 with a tie breaker. There are some late season surprises like AZ and play between the other contenders.

if they win out they get in.

hey if you want an optimistic viewpoint, the Bills with 5 games to do, win the division if they win the rest of their games on the schedule.   Are they where we want or expected them to be right now, no we all know that.   Obviously this can change tomorrow but if you want to have an optimistic view, this is it...win your games.

Winning out doesn’t guarantee a division crown. Your math is flawed. Miami can lose to the Bills and still have a better record, which would negate a supposed tie breaker or better record.

Bump

Just want to put things in perspective,  we're the ******* Buffalo Bills,  we been here before,  we're alive and the only team stopping us is the Buffalo Bills

In 2021 we had a healthy Milano, a younger Poyer, a younger Hyde, and Star flippin Lotulelei on defense. What did you think was going to happen? Seriously though, Josh also had his #1 homey Brian Daboll as his OC. They were clicking back then and this situation is completely different.

In 2020 the bills had an 8 game winning streak until they lost the afc championship game

in 2021 the bills had a 5 game winning streak until they lost in the divisional round

in 2022 the bills had an 8 game winning streak until they lost in the divisional round

It can be done

How many teams need to miss the bus for that to happen, though?

Cleveland,  Denver, Pittsburgh,  and Cincy

Don't forgot about Indy. If you play with ESPN Machine, we are going to need a lot of upsets to go our way. We need a lot more to happen than most think.

Love the optimism, but Bills can't win the division if they win out and are not even assured of making the playoffs if we win out.  We need Miami to lose 2 of their next 5 if I am not mistaken for shot at division and we need some other teams to lose as we are currently 10th in the AFC, so we both need to win out and need some help.

But I do think we will win out, and that should get us in the playoffs and I think we at least make the AFCCG if we make the playoffs.  So I am with you on the optimism in general
