  1. If this is true, then this tells us that the Bills team is unbalanced right now. Just having an elite QB is not enough to win the real prize.
  2. A good man to man press CB and some road grading OL. Then start getting some DL and LB to stop the run. f you are going play in Buffalo and win you have to run it and you have to stop the run in Nov and Dec.
  3. They have a history of horrible drafting.
  4. Elliot is way overpaid for what he has given Dallas. I could see him out there
  5. I view it the other way. Allen has bailed out the OL. Running your star QB is not sustainable against good run D's deep in playoffs
  6. I got great seats on 45 yd line. Booked my flights for Friday. Gonna do the weekend there.
  7. This has to be one of the worse played playoff games I ve seen by both teams.
  8. Face validity refers to the extent to which a test appears to measure what it is intended to measure. A test in which most people would agree that the test items appear to measure what the test is intended to measure would have strong face validity.
  9. During the cold weather game the Pats won when Jones threw 3 passes the key was all the drops by the Bills WR. I think the drops by the WR are a bigger issue than JA throws. I think BB knows the WR drops can lead to tip INTs hence why I do not expect Jones to throw more than ten passes all game long again.
  10. The last two time both of those QBs played TN they lost. In Brady's, case he has lost his last three to TN, one with TB and two with NE in the years of this new metric. So it appears the metric does follow the data that matters: scores and W/L. It is way better than PFF metrics in my view. I find they are off for most players.
  11. Weather no doubt plays a role. But I think every QB on the list except Stafford faced bad weather this year.
  12. Here is the methodology they used for those interested. https://www.nfl.com/news/next-gen-stats-intro-to-passing-score-metric
  13. https://www.nfl.com/news/ranking-the-14-playoff-quarterbacks-based-on-ngs-new-passing-score-metric?campaign=Twitter_atn The Next Gen Stats crew has created a new metric/algorithm to analyze QBs. I never thought the PFF numbers meant anything. They did not have face validity. This one is very different and I think is better. There are some surprises here too.
