I would not be surprised if he is dealt at the deadline, Stevenson was drafted to take that spot over. Knox is clearly coming into his own as well, and that makes Beasley less important as a TE exploits same areas a Slot does. A late round pick is going to replace a veteran who is known for going over the middle and finding spots in zone coverage? Nahhh. 2 1 1

Its sad because at one point Beasley was one of my favorite players for sure. I don’t care about his vaccine opinions, the dude is a baller. But now, after that tweet, I’m done with him. We got plenty of talent at WR. He can take his ball and go home 1 1 2 1 1

Nobody in our area in 335 has booed him in any of the games yet that I've noticed. He will also get many that give him the attention he is so desperate to get. I disagree with his stances but have cheered him on the field so far through 3 home games. Can't say I will continue to do so. 2 1

They were going to move on from Him just like they did brown. He keeps going to Social Media like this he will likely be moving out faster than offseason.

I may have been wrong. He needs to lose the complex or he will lose his fans and teammates. Sanders has stepped up....need to get Gabe back involved...and Mckenzie can take his spot. Trade him and sign Johnny brown back to PS if he doesn't chill out. What has McKenzie shown to make anyone think he can replace Cole? Ya know, one of the best slot receivers in the NFL since Welker! If slot guys are so easy to find why doesnt every team have one pushing 100 catches?

Cray51
I think Beasley has more issue with one off people booing and saying things than the entire stadium. We need people to separate sports and politics. Beasley has made a choice that is allowed by the league, and is operating in line with the leagues policies. You dont personally like his decision? Fine. But to go to a stadium, and spray hate towards someone who isnt breaking any rules is disgusting. I hope the fans cheer Beasley when he comes out of the tunnel at our next home game. He shouldnt be facing individual ridicule at the level he is. 5 2 1

MAJBobby
So based on "Stay off Social Media" Boy's Tweets. I am guessing some drunks upset him on the sideline, he had some interaction with them during the game and McD didnt like that. Hence the ass chewing. and Hence the need for "Stay of Social Media" Boy to take to Social Media and give his excuse, same things happened in Dallas. #JustSaying

There are fans who think he is getting booed, and the actual player thinks it too. It sounds like a big misunderstanding, but I don't blame those people for thinking it is booing. Beasley isn't alone in that. I sit in the lower bowl (good seats) and I’m not hearing it. Not at all. And that’s probably where such commentary would be made.

Even with that it's safe to say the vast majority of Bills fans were cheering/"Beeeaaassss"-ing him. I think he's going to lose a lot more support after crying on social media about some fans being mean to him 3

No doubt. And when Cole said "Some are. Then I got some right behind the bench" what he probably really meant was that "One time there was this one guy who said........" If there was a group of people doing it loud enough for Beasley to hear, there would have been a group of other Bills fans telling those guys to shut the "F" up. - Bet on it. 4

blacklabel
Maybe it’s boo, maybe it’s Bease, maybe a little of both. The man is complaining about the same crap he thinks he stands up for, he wants to stand up and say, “These are my opinions, I’m free to have them and you’ll just have to deal with it.” And that’s true, so by the same token, fans are allowed to have their opinions and if their opinion is voiced via boos then he just has to deal with it, doesn’t he? The man has a weird degree of ignorance and arrogance to him. What’s he care what fans say anyway? Aren’t we all just a bunch of lesser-than folk with our pitiful little day jorbs and no money? Leeching off him for autographs and selfies, right? Dude is a legend in his own mind, believes he’s a victim, can’t STFU about things he said he was gonna STFU about. If he wasn’t on thin ice with the organization already, I’m sure he could be getting there. I dunno. Trade his dumba$$ for a guard or something. They don’t have time for the sideshow BS he wants to do right now. Edited October 4, 2021 by blacklabel 3

sullim4
I am in the camp of rooting for him regardless of his vaccination status. As others said, he isn't being booed (at least he wasn't in week 1), and any one-offs in the crowd are not worth getting yourself worked up over. However, it's becoming a larger issue and frankly a distraction to the team, regardless of your feelings on the matter. He needs to get off of social media (something I did years ago aside from one-off message boards like this) and focus on football. He's free to whatever opinion he wants so long as it doesn't begin to hurt the team or his performance. 5

PolishDave
This is also a good example of how much the mental part of this game plays into it. You can get inside the players heads. The 12th man does count. You can both help and hurt your team by the things you yell from the stands - assuming you are close enough to be heard clearly. There are people out there, who care about the Bills enough to register and post and a Buffalo Bills message board, but have never heard the fans react to Cole Beasley making a catch or walking out onto the field. And not only are they just not hearing the reaction now, but they think it is booing. And not only booing, but only booing during positive moments, like catching a first down or a touchdown. And not booing during when he jumps off sides, drops the ball, slips on a route, etc. What a wild time to be alive. 1
