Yeah but the difference is Aaron Rodgers at least to me was going to be a great QB wherever he went, Jordan Love was never touted as a 1st round pick at all. Risky move by the packers it didn’t work out with Flynn or Hundley. I don’t think either Gruden or Mayock are sold on Carr and even talked to teams to trade for him at the combine. Cleveland is gonna give mayfield sometime before writing him off. The point on this though is surely that the Packers are not trading him. They can't afford to trade him and they don't need to trade him. He will be their starting Quarterback in 2020 and probably in 2021. But they are dysfunctional the Packers at the moment and the main person who has caused that dysfunction is Aaron Rodgers. He bitched behind the great Ted Thompson's back about not spending on free agents to the point where he retired as GM and moved upstairs and then he bitched about a coach in McCarthy who while clearly having shortcomings had built the whole team around Rodgers. Be careful what you wish for Aaron because the new guys are not going to risk their careers on stroking your ego. This is the NFL.
