Lol You just saved enough to pay for a couple years membership fees! My chemical engineer BIL (great guy really, but...) refuses to pay the annual fee. “You cannot justify the fee mathematically.” They drive down from Wisconsin to Atlanta to see their daughters and my mom regularly. When he’s here he and his daughters love to go with my mom (on a very tight fixed income) to use her membership, load up and take it back to Wisconsin. We clearly spend too much money, but I’m pretty sure I save enough to pay for the fee on one weekend party, or flowers over the course of the year for my wife (I actually save over $100 every time I get her flowers, and they last longer). In terms of the drinks, every couple is bringing a bottle of wine and a good 6 pack. I’ll have booze and a couple of cases of “drinking beers.” What do you guys have planned for tomorrow night??? I got a brisket in the smoker right now....rubbed down with salt, pepper and garlic powder....going to pull it out after about 6 hours, chop the point into cubes and put some brown sugar in a bowl, along with some homemade KC style sauce....tomato based, a little apple cider vinegar, molasses.....Burnt ends are like candy....if beef was candy.....so freakin good.
