finn
What worries me is that Nsekhe will be out and Watt will be in, meaning Lee Smith will be helping Cody Ford, meaning at least two or three drives will be killed by holding penalties. I'm also worried about Levi Wallace being out and Will Fuller being in. What gives me hope is that the team is clutch and the coaches prepare the players well. Simply, it could go either way. An edge to them on paper with the injuries and home field advantage, but the overall advantage to the Bills because they have more heart.

If Fuller is playing I much prefer Kevin Johnson starting over Levi Wallace. I think you're right about Lee Smith although hopefully Daboll uses Knox and Kroft more. Albany,n.y.
I'm expecting a win, but I wouldn't bet on it. Houston is so erratic you never know if they'll play like champs or chumps until you see them on the field on gameday. If we lose I'll still see it as a step forward. Last year Baltimore got knocked out in the wild card round and this year they had the NFL's best record.
Freddie's Dead
I'm expecting a big win. Defense smothers the Oilers offense, and JA lights it up. We're way overdue.
BADOLBILZ
I EXPECT them to come out with an effective/aggressive gameplan on offense and show things they haven't in the past month..........get a lead..........and get the Texans into throwing mode on offense where the Bills defensive strength is. Get some turnovers, win and prevent McD from another punchless playoff showing. They've basically known they were going to be playing in this round for a month and have been prepping for KC/Hous for a couple weeks now. No excuse to not be ready. At worst I HOPE for a great, memorable game. Which the slow death game in Jacksonville was NOT. But unfortunately I ANTICIPATE more of the same play-not-to-lose, tentative, slow-starting offense that we've seen the past month and that would allow the Texans to remain balanced offensively and put the defense in position for an uncharacteristically bad performance. Basically something like the NE game two weeks ago where they beat themselves with dubious game planning and stage fright.
CardinalScotts
24-16 mcd will give Watson trouble if we tackle well and dont allow any special teams tds or big plays i think we win it fairly comfortable. Call_Of_Ktulu
We have the D to shut the Texans offense down. Our offense is a wildcard, we have a mobile QB with a cannon with a lot of speed at WR. Knox and Singletary could play huge roles and if they perform in the playoffs Beanie will be viewed as a genius. I personally think the Texans are going to get a case of the Beasles and we win by 2 TD's.
ganesh
A Bills win (Hopefully) ! I think this is a even match up. A good/great offense vs a good/great defense An average offense vs a average defense This match up is similar to the Cowboys game. We can give all the yards, but not the score...and if our offense can come out of the gate hard, we have a chance. Can Special Teams make a big difference tomorrow. On Locked on bills Podcast, there was one stats that stood out. The Texans challenge the opponents to return the ball in both KR and Punting...They have a strong feel for their blocking teams and are challenging teams to return the ball. Andre Roberts MIGHT be the most important Bills player tomorrow. Edited January 4, 2020 by ganesh

WideRightRevenge
Two keys to the game 1) Josh doesn't play like a playoff rookie and has a solid game 2) We stop Hyde from running all over us ... not worried about passing attack with their OL, Tre covering Hopkins, and Fuller being out. WHEN these two things happen ... next stop Kansas City!!!

I would be interested to see the split in more specific situations. For example, running on 3 straight plays in fg range after an interception or at first and goal from the 9 is just frustrating. I say send the receivers to the end zone, let josh make a quick read or two then run to the pylon. It’s just too effective even if the defense knows it’s coming. Instead they run him off tackle with everyone bunched at the line. Or singletary up the middle. It just feels like a waste of a play. I expect a win today. Houston secondary not too good and they are down a safety. My only negative thought is that’s what was said before the Eagles game and we know how that turned out.
