Alphadawg7
Lower leg injury...precisely why it wouldn't have been wise to trade for the oft injured older pro. http://bleacherreport.com/post/fantasy-football/a815e11b-637d-43c6-b877-c121f23c0105 Edited July 27, 2019 by Alphadawg7

JoeF
Met he and his then girlfriend and now wife in the Cincy airport about 5 years ago. Talked to him for 15 minutes before I realized who he was (a TSA person on break came up for an autograph). Really liked both of them. Well rounded, intelligent and fun couple who were truly in love. This sucks if its serious. Praying for something minor that gets him out of training camp but allows him to come back for the season.
ProcessAccepted
Geez if it's a serious injury the Bengals are in for a long season. That'll make securing a wildcard spot tougher for us too. Two teams will probably make it out of the AFC North if everyone in that division gets and extra 2 easy wins.

Mike in Horseheads
He's a heck of a player when healthy but as others have noted thats not very often. Ankle sprains can just nag you for ever.

MAJBobby
Why Proper Facilities for Practice are essential. There was concern on the Surface and what happens loose a player to a lower body injury.
Big Turk
Seems like it's only a sprained ankle, but depending on the type and severity it could be something he deals with all season long and limits how effective he can be.

Alphadawg7
Glad its not as bad as the story sounded when it first happened, he’s always been a great player. But still glad we didn’t mortgage a critical draft pick for an end of his peak WR that just can’t seem to shake the injury report stuff. Wouldn’t hate it if we got him, but personally glad we kept our picks to use for the future and signed quality vets in FA.

A high ankle sprain is a sprain of the syndesmotic ligament of the fibula and tibia.
billieve420
Next year's draft is loaded at WR. Smart move standing pat by the Bills not giving up valuable picks for a player.

YoloinOhio
I would say that I can’t believe Mike Brown would allow this, but that would be a lie. Worst owner in the league. On Sunday, Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyddescribed the field conditions in Dayton as "terrible." "The turf was terrible. I couldn't run any routes out there. I'm falling all over the ground. It was bad. It was rocks, pebbles out there. Man, it was somewhere we shouldn't have been. I'm not trying to say any excuses, but it is what it is," Boyd said.
