I agree, I don't have the energy anymore to get pissed off about this team. I have such a passion for this team to be successful and I know there are up's and down's but this is getting ridiculous. The few things that piss me off are all Patriot related. Watching Hughes get held all game long with no flags thrown. Watching the replay of a Patriots huge gain by the RB and on the replay you can see a blatant holding call. Any and all close plays always give the Patriots the benefit of the doubt. Over all it just sucks the passion out of you as a fan.

Nick the Greek
I can be pretty grouchy after a Bills loss, for a few days even. but after a Bills win I’m happy and listening to WGR all day on Monday. I wish I was like all the other posters that “don’t care”. They are liars.

Brianmoorman4jesus
I can pretend it doesn’t effect me but it absolutely does. I spend way to much time on this team to just act like the losses don’t bother me. A win, I’m good like 30 mins after. A loss, I’m usually upset for at least the rest of the day and into the next. I have grown to expect losses in self defense. But the losses definitely bother me way to much to be rationalized.

Happy
It doesn't affect me; just a game and life goes on. They've been losing for too long; one would be miserable if they took it that seriously.

Livinginthepast
It used to really get me angry during the 90s. I would be pissed for days. By the time 2000 rolled around and they started to suck , my anger/disappointment reduced considerably. I'm down to a couple of hours or less now. Games vs Pats I expect to lose and there's no post game black cloud over my head. All in all, I can put losses in perspective and any loss is nothing compared to the way that wide right in the SB felt. Truly one of the worst moments in my life and weeks of "mourning" afterward. Oh what could have been.
Bing Bong
I'm pissed until making playoffs is untenable.. same way with wins, which made this season super boring and extra horrible since I checked out after week 2 only watching to see what Edmunds and JA had to offer I'll admit the first few weeks figuring out what team we have is pretty unhealthy for me. Franco_92
The Bills and Sabres both can change my mood for the following 24 hours. Not from bubbly to suicidal or anything, but things are bleaker when they lose and rosier when they win to the point that people around me can kind of tell. Doctor Duck
It doesn't hurt like it used too. Too many heartbreaks, too many botched calls to believe NFL is real. The cheetosriats need to die off...The general public is getting board of the same old same old every year and it's suffocating interest in football. I will say when the Bills win, I still get a lift in my step, work out harder, smile more. However, I'm numb to losing....happens so much numbness is my normal. That one always hurt a bit. This year was pretty much a tank so none of them were rough. This is how it goes for me too. There's that one loss where you realize, "oh no, we suck again".
Bill from NYC
The losses don't phase me like they used to. This is very much due to necessity, whereas I was way too emotionally invested. Like others have said, at this point I am pleasantly surprised when they win. Even when I was taking it more seriously, I was way worse on draft day than after losses. Friends from this board have actually called me at home to hear the entertainment of me flipping out after they drafted McKelvin and a few others. 2006 was my worst episode. My daughters have even called for a good laugh. In fact, it still hurts quite a bit to watch when the Bills make the same idiotic mistakes year after freaking year, no matter who is in charge. I was SO happy when they drafted Allen. I hope we don't go right back to the same ridiculous moves but I am trying to prepare for it. CardinalScotts
expectations curtail my anger.....i knew we havent been good enough to be a factor so im not as upset as i used to be. Disappointed somewhat but even with that not a lot. Next year i'm thinking wild card or atleast should be our goal. then build from there. Leaking into playoffs and having no shot of doing anything also gets old quickly---build it up, build it right.
CLTbills
Never missed work. It used to affect me terribly. My wife used to HATE me on game days (because odds are, more often than not, the Bills would lose). But I've mellowed out a lot... I think having a kid did that. I guess it makes you realize that, even though the Bills are part of me, there's more to life than football.

I love my Bills and I don't ever miss a game, but I will not let a game played for my entertainment dictate how i feel. Be happy when they win, be disappointed when they lose. I will also add that if watching a game which is for entertainment effects you to the point that you (anyone, not you specifically) miss a day of work over a loss, you have major emotional problems and please seek help immediately.
Captain Hindsight
It used to really bum me out for a few days. Now, not so much. The only time this year I left a game legit angry was when they trotted Peterman out against the Bears. I felt like a sucker having paid money to watch a non NFL QB attempt to play football when it would have been more effective to have Shady throw a few passes

El Guapo
It depends on the loss. If it’s a game we could have/should have won, I’ll be a grump-ass for an hour or so. Otherwise, I just enjoy the rest of the football day.
