And just like that, we are all Rams fans.

So first you call Bills fans ignorant, then you discuss your admiration of the Patriots* and now you insult strangers online with insults that don’t even apply? Must be fun hanging around the forum of your second favorite team (unless there are others you haven’t mentioned yet) being an internet tough guy.

And Babe Parilli was the QB in the 1960's, Grogan late 70's Einstein! Man you are an NFL expert!!! ha ha!

So that’s when you became a Pats* fan?

If a Pats win retires Brady than I am all for them winning and finally ending their run.

If the Pats win I can't see  Brady retiring.  He loves to crush the Bills in every way possible and having a chance to go to 4 Superbowls in a row is something he won't miss taking a shot at (especially if he ends up with 2/3 wins going in).

So many people have said no team will ever get back 4 years in a row.  He loves to prove people wrong.

Uh, I never thought of that angle. I really hope they never get to 4 in a row.

Speak for yourself.  Punks like Talib, Suh & Peters have me cheering for the Patriots.

Also, I continue to hold out hope that one more SB championship will nudge Brady into retirement.  :)

Damn you, Pete Carroll!

Damn you, Kyle Shanahan!

I was PFT today and I actually read a Patriots fan write, and I quote, " I don't want to see the Rams win after the Saints game. It would just be a tainted championship". The irony was just dripping off that comment. The ballz on these guys is astonishing!

Actually, I really don't care. I just enjoy watching the games and not worrying about who is winning or losing (unlike when I'm watching the BIlls). I just want an entertaining game, and yesterday was. Hoping for the same in the SB.

And, as much as it hurts, I was the only person to pick the Pats in our office playoff pool. I'm looking pretty smart right now.

I’m having such a hard time figuring out if they have the perfect team to beat the Pats, or if they’ll be overwhelmed by the moment and blown out.

They might be overwhelmed at first, but it wont be a blowout. It will go down to the wire like the other 8.

Same - that could easily be Buffalo.  Maybe St. Louis has other problems and doesn't want to pay hundreds of millions of dollars for a football team.  There's like no proven ROI other than that the owners probably make more money off of the fans.

dneveu, honestly at least once every couple of weeks I think about and appreciate how fortunate we are to still have a team.

So easily could be us.

Ya know, D, it is f'n ridiculous.  Look, if they end up with a new stadium, fine.

However, I've written in other threads on this board that the NFL's chasing of the stadium dollar as an increasing revenue source is a fools errand, especially in a place like Buffalo and most importantly because I believe more than any other sport the NFL is best watched on TV (although maybe that is just me).

Tap hard other revenue sources but these football cathedrals whose sole purpose is to charge the fans more are going to end at some point...honestly, I believe they will.

They all share revenue anyway, he's cash rich and can loan other owners money for projects etc.  We're not buying these absurd rams PSLs so don't even bother trying to sell them to us.

Pats win with ease unless Gurley is healthy and goes wild imo

The loss of Cooper Kupp was a devastating blow to the Rams offense and Goff in particular. He was so often the safety valve on PA plays designed to go deep. Goff is not a guy who tries to fit a ball into tight coverage. Really odd considering his accuracy and arm strength.

Concur that Gurley would have to have a huge game for the Rams to win.

Not all of us; I find hatred of the Patriots as hilarious as hatred of Jerry Sullivan! OK, attack!

I'm rooting for the Pats in the SB. And the irrational animosity directed toward Sullivan was silly.  Complaining about a columnist while continuing to read his work is like hating Italian food and continuing to go to Italian restaurants.

Im for the Rams ONLY if Brady is planning on coming back next year.

BUT, if in his mind, he's thinking about retiring after just one more ring, I want the Pats to win so he can get the hell up out of the AFC East...

Every year I want to beat Brady fair and square and it doesn't happen. I've had enough. I've accepted the fact that he OWNS us. I've thrown in the towel. The same towel the refs use against us whenever we play them.

We should all hope Tom Brady comes back because he's on the verge of collapse. If he wins and retires, that smirk in the lockerroom will be the lasting image of Tom Brady's career.

I want to see the Bills beat TB and that is finally within reach. I was previously leaning toward his competitive fire prompting him to keep it pushing until he can't push anymore. Now I'm starting to think he knows his limitations are catching up with him and he will bow out the champ(assuming they win). I will say this; if he retires, win or lose, it's because he knows he doesn't have another run in him. He would love to get number 7. Whether it be money or rings, there's never enough.

didn't look like verge of collapse to me, there was nothing from the 2 games to conclude it was close, Tom was laughing during both of them

Pats keep subbing in any of 3 RBs into the game, nobody even knows who is in the game at a given time, and they tear it up with ease

They have a masterful gameplan and Tom Brady is the greatest pre snap QB of all time. He does not have the arm strength to beat you deep but neither SD nor KC seemed to get the memo. That will change when team's finally catch on. Take away the middle of the field and he's toast. Sure, he'll occasionally chuck up a jumpball to Gronk or someone else, but it's not sustainable.

I'd like to say Wade has some tricks up his sleeve, but the Rams have some really stupid DB's/LB'ers. Not sure they'll be able to execute the plan.

Very true but for some reason teams play scared against Brady.  or maybe they just don't have the personal to execute the game plan.  I couldn't believe the way SD played & the game plan they had for Brady.  They might as well just of forfeit the game & save the airfare.  Lynne made -0- adjustments either.

My friend at works his dad is good friends with Gronk's dad, & he told him last week Gronk is done after this year.  Patriots have a bunch of guys up for Free Agency I believe, not sure how hard it will be for them to reload, it hasn't seem to matter the past 10 years or so with Brady being so good.  I have felt for the past decade their roster is vulnerable & not that good, but somehow they always end up in the super bowl.
