As I recall, McDermott wanted Mike McCoy last season, his first choice.  McCoy signed with Denver instead...he didn't last long there, only about a half a season, I believe.  I remember them saying his offense was "too complicated" for the talent on hand..

If that's true and McCoy is hired then TT for sure won't be back.

For all those suggesting Chud, he's still employed by the Colts. Has to actually be let go first.

exactly, the Bills would be taking a big risk waiting for that situation to pan out.  i don' think it's him

Me too. I think when Tom Cable went to Seahawks there O-Line nose dive down. Heck Cable makes Juan looks like HOF coach. I would like him but not Cable with him.

Cable honestly believes he is an offensive line mastermind. He thinks he can take guys that never played the position and turn them into all pros. Remind you Of a former Bills coach?

That alone is a big reason I think he is for real. He would help himself a lot if he hadn't acted like a total nut job.

I foresee something big and world changing happening in 2018!

Do you want to give me the deed to your house and your life savings now or do you want to wait until something meeting the above criteria happens first?

His weaknesses are supposed to be hidden by his OC. That happens for every QB.

Saved you the trouble Tyrod Taylor

Scouting Report

  • hard working kid that has improved every year, but it is unclear if he can play quarterback at the next level. He has a quick release and a strong arm, but he is somewhat erratic as a passer.
  • also does not show the consistent sound decision making to be an efficient quarterback
  • greatest asset is his athleticism and heshould be able to contribute immediately as a running back, receiver or return man.
  • A terrific senior season, where he completed nearly 60% of his passes

STRENGTHS

  • Has excellent mobility and continually evades the rush while keeping his eyes downfield. Has above average arm strength and flashes the ability to fit the ball into tight windows on short to intermediate routes. Team leader and fierce

WEAKNESSES

  • Does not possess adequate height and too many of his passes are knocked down at the line. Sloppy footwork prevents him from stepping into throws making him an erratic passer. Locks onto receivers and often telegraphs his throws. Struggles breaking down coverage and makes too many ill-advised throws.

I'd love Bruce Arians, but don't think he'd do it

If he did -- and there's no way he would -- with Byrd the Bills would have two coaches who are fathers of former Bills.  (Jake Arians kicked for us years ago.)  I wonder what the record is for that.

oh yea thats right..for some reason I thought he was let go also after the HC was fired..but I do recall a team asked to talk to Chud and the Colts denied it even after the HC was gone

Hey, I dislike Dick Jauron as much as the next guy, but the dude could coach DB's. George Wilson was an average starter.

It's amazing how the source is connected to the Front Office, coaches meetings and offensive meetings.  Then this source reveals all this to a guy who is legitimately nuts.

Nothing is classified in Buffalo anymore....might as well just post the Draft Board on Twitter.

Jeane Dixon famously predicted (kind of/sort of) JFK's assassination.  She also predicted that there would be a cure for cancer by 1967 and peace on earth by 2000.

She predicted all sorts of stuff and then loudly broadcasted the stuff she luckily got right.

That's what I think is going on here...  guesses dressed up as insider information.

The Bills trying to trade Glenn story was out publicly before he even appeared.

That's Dunkirk Douche's m.o.; to take the temp of media reports and speculation, make a prediction based on that, and then attribute that to his "source."

The stadium bullcrap was just that; bullcrap. Everyone and their mother has known since the Pegulas bought the team that if no major renovation of New Era was feasible, the stadium would be located downtown. They have made a commitment to the district to say the least.

Granted we haven't had a lot of great OCs but let me ask, what did you like about Rico?

Under Rico, the offense went backwards.

2016:  #10 in points, #16 yards

2017:  #22 in points, #29 in yards

Same QB, same RB, mostly the same OL...  The WRs were different but not especially better or worse.

I thought he had some creative play designs. I thought he had a formula or a system for a specific QB and it wouldn't work because TT was his QB.

To me if there is any doubt I feel they had to make the move.  One way or another there is going to be a young Qb with loads of potential on the roster next year.  You do not want to start changing Oc on young Qbs.  Get a guy that can mold an offense around their strengths.  Seems that was what Deenison had trouble doing with Taylor.  If Jackson is the best Qb in the teams eyes which is not far fetch Dennison would seem to have no ability to create an offense around him.

Every QB has weaknesses. The OC is supposed to hide those weaknesses.

Let's let the talk about this joker die. If it's not obvious that this guy is an attention seeker who throws a million theories against the wall hoping one of them will stick, I dunno what to tell you. SDS shut down his thread cause the guy was even lying about where he lived. It's ALL BS.

I'm assuming this means Castillo is gone too.

I genuinely hope so. Took an OL that looked very solid in '15 & '16, an OL with a couple of Pro Bowlers and this season turned them into a subpar inconsistent unit. Missing Glenn may have affected that but aside from that I think it's clear that the zone stuff is not a strong suit for the current OL group.
