Really excited for these last five games. As Van Miller always said “Buckle your pants” this is gonna be a great ride.

I'm not sure how stopping the Pats run game is our priority given that the Bills have continually been exposed playing aganst higher  quality  QB's. Brady will most likely shred us.

I would like that to be different but I don't see the key to the Pats as stopping their run game

They have the RUN Defense stop the Pats?  Maybe your looking at a different Pats team but they are Def not a RUN first team. I mean the Pats have this QB called Brady, be like the Packers being run first with Rogers.. makes no sense.

that said the BILLS run O scares me as a fan. Because I see it as the Bills need control the clock and score TDs  and limit the number of chances Brady gets. Because if the bills are up say by 4 with 2 minutes left and Brady has the Ball. IMO Pats still win.

Ya see...we have this player called Matt Milano, who will be given the job to shadow Gronk the entire game.

Oh, we have this guy named Tre White, who will play blanket coverage on Cook.

And finally, we have this coach by the name of McDermott, who will out-maneuver BB in a loud stadium on Sunday.

Buckle your pants fella...the Bills are en route to the apex of the AFC East.

See I call everything you said as being a good fan, right until you said McDermott would out menuever BB.  That's beyond being a fan that's straight up delusional! (Not saying the Bills can't or won't win but it won't be because of McDermott out menuevering the greatest coach in the NFL BB)

i notice you forgot Amandola, which is ok I forgot mention Hogan, white,Lewis, and Burkhead.

BB was a military history buff. McDermott was a wrestler. There's one thing wrestlers do: they prepare and understand the process. Military buffs do one thing well...flank. But when the flank fails, they typically have no other strategy. This is gone be a good game.

are you seriously asking for SERIOUS conversation,  in a Bills forum,  this week?

Your right it will be a good game. But please stop smoking whatever your smoking! BB even here is considered the best HC in the NFL. (Hell even the JETS admit that!)  again the Bills chance to win relies on your O controlling the clock! The Pats O will score, the Bills need to limit Brady's chances.

I was hoping for some good football conversation. Am I being delusional myself? (You guys over here usually know your stuff.)

Exhibit A: Your O Line is suspect

Exhibit B: Gilmore has more ups and downs than a Thai barmaid

Exhibit C: Coleman

Exhibit D: Clay/O'Leary vs thin LB's

Exhibit E: Dennison understands the Pats playbook (given his experience)

Exhibit F: Tyrod (despite all his faults) understands this is his audition for other teams. Think Bills/Seattle last year.

Exhibit G: Brady will get bounced a few times on his ass.

This is the wrong thread for serious discussion ;)

Every year one team climaxes during the last five games. The Giants climaxed a few years ago and took the big one against the Patriots.

 * The Bills are almost ? healthy.

*. They have a renewed excitement for the game as a team.

*. They have a run defense that can stop the Pats, Fish and Colts.

Really excited for these last five games. As Van Miller always said “Buckle your pants” this is gonna be a great ride.

If they win this weekend I would agree with you.  Beating a KC team that is falling apart after that 3 game stretch doesn't completely right the ship.  This weekend will be a good indication of where Mcdermott has the football team.  If they get the brakes beaten off of them than this team is no better than the hand full of middling teams we have had over the last 17 years.  Playing the Pats close this late in the year would give me optimism that they can play with anybody and possibly win the games needed down the stretch to steel a playoff spot.  Beating Ne would be a huge feather in Mcdermotts cap.  Buffalo would quickly become a favorite to get into the playoffs.  Even if the team came up short of the playoffs a win Sunday grants him faith that he may be equipped to right this franchise.  Imo it the equivalent of Michigan beating Ohio St or Auburn beating Alabama.  Beating the Patriots when it matters most buys Mcdermott a lot of time with the fan base to build this franchise.  Beating the Patriots in December is extremely difficult.  Billicheck has the highest winning % of any coach in NFL history in December.

Rico's still Rico.

Tyrod's still Tyrod.

Our LBs and linemen haven't changed.

We may have peaked at the right time...  but our summit isn't high enough to see over the top of Mount Brady.

I'm enjoying this week because I think this is the last week we hear any conversation about the Bills having a legitimate chance for the playoffs.

Couple things:

1.  Miller would say "Fasten your seat belts"-you're not even close

2.  Your title is horrible :)

No one anticipated Peterman would throw blanks.

save your breath.   We (TBD members)  all wanted Nate to play soooo bad that Sean said Yeah OK,   why not bench a starter for a compete unknown.

For those who said it was Tyrods spot to lose ....  he's teetering on the edge.

pastey knew he sucked before he played a down  in the NFL.

This board is gonna be a hot mess at 4:15 on Sunday. I fully expect a big loss this week. However, indy and Miami should be 3 wins. It'll be interesting playing the Patriots games so close together. We'll see if it gives the bills any kind of edge. Doubt it though

I can't speak for everyone, but if the Bills lose, I won't be losing any sleep over it. Now if Tyrod pulls a Peterman with a pickfest, then I'll be a bit peeved. But if the Pats board the plane right there on the field after they barely win, it would be somewhat encouraging going forward from that
