Matt Araiza signs with Chiefs

And the rich get richer… Unreal. Dude is gonna punt the crap out of the ball and make everyone look dumb for not signing him sooner.

As long as the Chiefs punt often, go ahead and punt the crap out it.

Seems a bit strange, first of all the timing,  but more importantly they already have a terrific punter in Townsend. So unless they are releasing him for salary issues this signing makes little sense

Probably saves a few million in cap if Araiza works out for them.

I'm sure but again the timing is very strange, unless he's due for a roster bonus or something and they are going to release him. But he's one of the leagues better punters. This feels like a due diligence move and nothing more

Comical.  But hey.. certain members of our media and fanbase can give themselves a pat on the back for trying to destroy a young man and then helping our main rival save some money.

This is no real surprise considering the Chiefs have a history of signing guys with red flags and baggage....which also proves that 'lockerroom culture' doesn't really matter when you have the right head coach, QB, etc.

Obviously in Araiza's case he appears to be cleared of wrong doing and knowing the Bills luck he's going to be an all pro punter for the next decade in KC.

That one punt he had for us preseason was insane.

Probably the best punter you could have when you're pinned deep.

They cut the other punter right after this game too. Then all the chaos happened

Townsend is a free agent

Because of course he is...FWIW the Bills would never have resigned him and everyone here clamoring for that was nuts. You think he would willingly sign with an organization that cut him/stunted his career before he was even proven innocent? No shot.

This feels like something I should be upset about, but I don't care that much.

Sorta like when I forget the dumb bags at the grocery store.

The paper ones are fine.

Im the opposite.

I had come to terms with the fact we wouldn’t be the ones who signed him after all the bs that went on…

However, Kansas City?… because, of course it’s Kansas City.
