RyanC883
Found this while looking for an Allen Hurdle Gif. What is going on here. Allen looks almost submissive like he is being cuddled by Tua? https://twitter.com/houtz/status/1574133542270951427/mediaviewer 1 3
Not at the table Karlos
It was stupid hot and he probably almost passed out from the heat
Thrivefourfive
I remember seeing this post game, and I was embarrassed. JA was sulking because he missed the winning TD pass to McKenzie(?) 1
Brand J
To hug up on the opposing QB, he takes the loss better than a Brady would 😅
NoHuddleKelly12
It’s all relative. Anyone here remember “right” Josh Rosen having a picture taken (in Miami Dolphins camp I believe) of some dude holding Rosen’s arms a certain way to mimic proper throwing technique while dropping back to pass? Now that’s real embarrassment for a 1st round QB imho.

DrDawkinstein
You're looking at a split-second snapshot of an entire series of events through even that simple hug. Dont read too much into single pictures. This happens all the time with pictures of world leaders shaking hands and a picture blowing up because the leaders "look mad at each other", and then you watch the tape and they were all smiles, but it was the moment one was looking into the sun and the other had to sneeze or some other weird *****. Josh was exhausted. Tua probably cant even remember that moment. Moving on. 2

TheFunPolice
They shared a similar hug post game in Buffalo BTW (in the second game). Tua is a great guy, he just plays for the wrong team for Bills fans to like him. We forget sometimes that many of these guys are buddies and the NFL is a high stakes and big money version of competing with your friends and trying to beat them. Real temperature of 120 on the field, he was spent. Passed for 400 yards with a gimpy Davis, no Kumerow(hurt 1st half), No Diggs for almost the whole 4th quarter plus part of the 3rd and early in the 4th with Diggs already on the bench Knox & McKenzie went to get IVs. He was throwing Gilliam, Morris, Singletary and I think they were lining Cook up at WR they were so desperate for players. He was also the leading rusher, the usual 1 man show. GoBills808
That's how you look after carrying Reggie Gilliam and Quentin Morris to 400+yards in 100degree heat

MJS
This was after the game that basically the entire team was dealing with heat exhaustion. Allen was exhausted and gave it his all and lost. I thought it was kind of a cool moment, actually. Tua recognized how hard Allen fought for it and recognized how hard it would be to come up short under those circumstances. It was just one of those human moments. 1 1

Logic
My honest opinion? A player was exhausted after an absolutely exhausting and brutally hot game -- during which he put forth every last bit of effort he possibly could and still came up short -- and took a moment to exhale and embrace a friend on the field, and that anyone who makes any kind of big deal about it or dislikes it or views it as a weakness or "bad look" is merely projecting their own insecurity and should probably examine why the picture bothers them to begin with. 1 1

Just in Atlanta
IDK. He was feeling close to the Dolphins after the Christian Wilkins incident? Or, perhaps, it was a brutal, exhausting game that came down to the wire and they shared their emotions for a second.

JohnnyBuffalo
Anyone questioning this has never been to the absolute top level of competition in any way shape or form. I’m not just talking about sports either. To compete at a level where you and your competition is considered the best of the best and you put everything you humanly have into something and fall short but have the respect…no! The admiration or your competition because they know their path may not have been as difficult or they didn’t have to work as hard as you to come out on top….yeah that’s that pic. Tua knew.
