I think right now this is a Josh Allen thing and not a Gabe Davis thing. After that game and those horrendous throws he made I cannot make Gabe Davis a scapegoat. He had a drop. Josh needs to reexamine himself and get back to fundamentals. Fix the playcalling too bc it's a problem. Still super doubtful OBJ ever wanted to come here, this game bearing no consequence on any of it. its not about one drop. 2 catches is unacceptable, i dont care if its 2 for 100, wed be better off with a bease stat-line of 6rec 50 yards. we need him to get open so josh has a place to go, keep the chains moving, and do his part in drawing attention to keep defenses from locking in on diggs. hes doing NONE of that

Where is Josh throwing the ball? Literally throwing it into the d's hands. Not the receivers fault (as far as I can tell without watching "film"). This game and the second half of the Packers game is on Josh. And ge will be the first one to tell you this. Second it's on Dorsey.

ngbills
We need obj. If not him then someone. Gabe looks more like a 4th rounder than playoff gabe this season. Lots of drops and can’t get open. Take away two big plays and his numbers are awful. Knox is just not a threat right now. Wish we had another te. We tried but oj Howard did not work out. mck, shakur, kumerow is not gonna cut it. solid 2 is needed.

Maybe that means a different approach to player development. Cook/Shakir have shown more in their limited moments than I’ve seen from McKenzie (outside a few TD’s) … and I’m fine with a goal line package/gadget package for McKenzie. Just roll the dice and offer him a 3 year deal at the expense of having to let Edmunds and/or Oliver walk. Can free up money for him by trading Oliver for a pick, if necessary next year. Timing seems to be good too - he can be ready by late December. Plus, let's not underestimate his desire to make splash plays - they may be just what we need for a SB push.

He is a very talented receiver. He along with Diggs would provide a great 1 & 2 punch to the receiving corps. It would help opens things up for other receivers as teams would be focused on Diggs/OBJ
MAJBobby
OBJ is the single Biggest move that the Bills can do, to re-ignite this stagnant Offense this season. No other changes will have that impact at this point in the season and will have to be made in the offseason.
