Glad to see Bryant make the roster. With 2 adds and Micah to IR .. I believe theyhave to make another move.
 

Greg Mancz plays center which may mean Morse is definitely at risk. The snaps when Morse was out during the Titans game were rough.

Makes sense, thanks. I imagine they will likely release one or both of these guys following the Dolphins game (given Phillips and/or Oliver aren’t long term issues) and add a Safety.

No moves - Bobby Hart - suspended.

 

That is why Mancz was called up - nothing to do with Morse.

I was referencing the snap from the center to the QB .. they were off with Josh on multiple occasions having to dig out low snaps

Not sure how overall rules are but he is NOT elevated this time. He is signed to the 53. So I guess that doesn't count as elevation if he gets cut later and signed for the PS again.

 

And there is also a chance he just stays on the roster.

The language on the Bills web site suggests Bryant (and Emili) were "signed" to the 53 man roster.  They elevated JaMarcus Ingram and Greg Mancz were "elevated."  I presume the Bills can cut Bryant and Emili and sign them to the PS, but there is no particular of teams claiming them on waivers over and above the fact that while on the PS other NFL teams can poach them anyway.  The only risk is if they play really well and garner attention from other teams that need DT help.

God I hate the PS rules where anyone can poach players.

No because Bryant was elevated to the 53 man roster and I believe they have 3 elevations from the PS this year - not 2.

Bryant played well all pre-season, and he had a lot of snaps last week. And Emili has been productive--he's a good space eater. I don't worry about the D-Line.  ..... The biggest questions are the D-Backs. They are capable, but in this game Hill & Waddle are going to test them big time.

Hart is a backup G/T.  Von Roten was backing up C/G. Mancz can also backup C/G.  Seems like this call up has something to do with Morse being questionable.  
 

Quessenbury is the back up swing tackle.

The Dolphins are also not really a run between the tackles type team. I think Settle is probably up and Bryant as you say is a good depth player who I was really surprised we were able to sneak back through to the PS at cut downs. We lose a bit of interior rush ability with both Oliver AND Phillips out but overall I think that position will be fine and Boogie and Groot can both play a bit of 3T. The concern is the secondary. Particularly I worry that the injuries might result in us being a bit more vanilla back there which will help Tua to diagnose and get it out quickly. If we can confuse him with disguised coverages he will hold the ball and our rushers will eat.

Know who else has been monitoring the Bills closely all season? Chiefs fans. There’s a 45 page thread on Chiefs Planet dedicated to the Bills to which they discuss the team and their chances against us. It predates the Rams game up until now. Why don’t we have a running Chiefs thread? 😂

I would say Basham is bigger and wider. He can drop inside and Lawson can play outside. Honestly either probably can. Of the backups I would say Epenesa is the only guy that is an edge only.

Pretty sure all players subject to waivers at this point in the season. Maybe they’ll put in a claim but they’re far down the pecking order. If he clears perhaps they will bring him in. They tend to like “ their guys”.
