do a poll - most people do not agree Edmunds plays timid. you are still wrong how long will you stretch this? (also misses tackles and even getting off blocks has nothing to do with it. The argument is that he misses tackles because he's playing too fast and over pursuing, not timid)

Maybe if you keep saying "you're take is bad/wrong and most people would agree with me" with no reasoning behind it I'll change my mind

It would be absolutely shocking to see Jackson against Miami this week.  It is the rookie tandem's time to shine, against easily the best receiving duo in the league.

Get yer popcorn.

How could you say that on a Bills message board? The Miami duo is very good, but no way am I putting them above Diggs and Davis, let alone easily.

Good point - no disrespect intended.

While I think we're close, it's Bills-centric to call ours the best.  Miami's will cause opposing DC's more nightmares this season (our offense as a whole might be more nightmarish, especially w/ Allen - but that duo is something else w/ their speed).

Stop It.  Now.

You have no idea how I feel, and to the extent I have expressed it it is NO WHERE CLOSE to "they should build a hangman's platform in front of the Ralph"

This kind of rampant misrepresentation is not OK.

Okay i apologize but i took it as you being pretty pissed or unforgiving by your reply sometimes things seem different than what they are so my apologies !!

But it does look as if you only focused in on one paragraph and ignored the rest .

Very different receiver types. If I'm looking for a wr core that can blow the lid off one game, it's Miami. If I'm talking consistent season long production I take us.

Tyreek and waddle are like the #1 and #2 explosive deep threat/yac guys in whole league.

Frazier has his work cut out this week. Scheme is how you deal with this, and a nasty pass rush. Mix in blitzing

I see this is where all the Edmunds haters have gathered since they can't complain about his actual on field play this season lol.

The arguments I am reading here by them wreak of such desperation that it's getting almost comical.  Edmunds is off to a great start to the season...my suggestion is just make peace with that and spend the rest of the week relaxed and excited for the next game.  You guys remind me of a relapsing drug addict who just needs their fix.  You know it's wrong, but no amount of logic matters here...you just need your fix.

Because of the YAC ability of Hill and Waddle we need to get a pass rush from the 4 DL and minimize the blitzes.

I don't care if you change your mind. however, you can post a poll for your own enlightenment if you wish.

Again for everyone -> his bad take was he thinks most posters here think that Edmunds plays timid

Yes, that's the hill he's choosing to die on.

1. Intense pass rush to reduce the threat of the fly route.

2. Assume most routes will be 10-15 yd crossing to Hill & Waddle. Be prepared to tackle immediately or they're gone.

Exactly.  Pressure from he middle to keep Tua from stepping up in the pocket with pressure from the ends to get him panic and rush.

If we can keep our LBs in the passing/crossing lanes it help with cutting off the YAC.   So having Milano AND Oliver would help a lot.  Not to mention Hyde for the deep coverage.

I came here for a lucent conversation about Dane's injury status moving forward.

Looks like I came to the wrong place. :(

I mean, what do you want to know?  We were told he walked out of the hospital last night and was said to have "no major injury" which I take to mean no bone or nerve damage.  McDermott said he's "day to day" which is pretty much how he describes almost any player who isn't going on IR.

There's not a lot of substance for a discussion right now.

Thanks. Your reporting on the lack of information is the most I've read so far.

I look forward to future reports on this thread... which I guess in a NFL Injury Reports way, will be vague until noon Sunday.

a fracture is not necessary (but most often is present) to cause permanent, serious damage:

Abstract

Much more knowledge seems to be available concerning concussion of the brain than of the corresponding lesion of the spinal cord. It is interesting, moreover, that information has accumulated concerning symptomatology of the former condition and pathology of the latter.

The clinical manifestations of concussion of the spinal cord include a multiplicity of clinical pictures, with apparently grave initial symptoms, which disappear or tend to improve rapidly. The symptoms are not, however, always transient in character, and serious, permanent disturbances may result. The condition varies, depending on the particular segment of the cord that is involved as well as on the evolution of the lesions.

Because of its relatively greater fixation and rigidity and its greater exposure to trauma, the thoracic portion of the vertebral column is the most frequent seat of trauma causing concussion of the spinal cord. The trauma need not be direct. It may be transmitted from

Having fun on Google I see. Not really what he presented with last night though. He didn’t have grave initiation symptoms, he pounded the ground with his fist and was not unconscious. Either way, glad he did not suffer any permanent damage, that’s the most important thing….

Levi Wallace

I'm so glad someone opened up the subject of McDermott CBs vs how these CBs perform out of his system.

Levi Wallace was a more than capable CB for the Bills throughout his 4 years with the team.

While I'm not a fan that takes stats too seriously this is one stat I'd like to share.

During Levi's 4 years in Buffalo, he had a passer rating under 80.  Not a bad 4-year statistic.

So far in Pittsburgh Levi has a 101.3 passer rating.

While on its own it doesn't prove much but it's another notch in the "McDermott gets the most out of his CBs" holster.

No. I’ve seen many traumatic brain and neck injuries professionally.  Monday morning qbing medical issues is difficult especially if u don’t know the science but carry on. Link some studies to refute me.I’ll reply

The best news is hearing Dane is out of the hospital. I hope he is recovering well.

Chris Brown speculated Dane may be more of a "day to day than a week to week" on one bills live yesterday. Have we heard anything about that?

I need to see your degree before we take this conversation any further Mr.. Welby… And if you have seen so many traumatic injuries you would have realized this wasn’t one, and in the end, I was right and you were wrong. In fact admit it, you didn’t really pay close attention, you jumped to a conclusion and clearly you were wrong…

LMAO...so starting one thread...literally one thread...pointing out the improved play by one of our main players is now somehow a crusade?  The same thread where I literally said repeatedly its just 2 games, and he still has a lot to prove this season in showing consistency...

Meanwhile, you are running around in multiple threads now taking exception to the fact someone acknowledge the improved play of someone you dislike.  So maybe check your own agenda before you start throwing around the crusade accusations.

I mean heaven forbid we discuss some positive things after 2 big wins on the message board of our favorite team.  What was I thinking not just starting another bashing thread instead?  Blasphemy and shame on me...

This has likely been brought up by Drew Rosenhaus in Poyer talks.

I think there’s a non-zero chance we see him in some action next Sunday, or at least as a reserve. These types of a diagnoses (ie neck) usually have a way of leaking out and we’ve yet to hear anything.
