This isn’t meant to be anything more than fun… I know most of us are aware how the Bills have fared in 1 score games… but this tweet looks at all 32 teams.

I thought it was interesting.

This is very cool.  Nice find!

Yep. It has been a strange year for the Bills in close games and out of character with performances of Allen and the team in close games over the last four years.

Other than the ifs and buts thing my biggest take away is that you had better bring your A game and not make any mistakes or the Bills will beat you.

that, and the Bills better bring their A game for the entire game.  This is my least fav. reg season yet.  The team should be 14-2, 15-1, something like that, but their inability to bring an A game for 60 minutes has led to a wildcard game.  They lost the 1 seed, plain and simple.  It was there for the taking and they mailed it in numerous times with bad play and bad coaching.

Now, put that crap behind them, play 60 minutes, and win the SB.  Lets go!!!!!

What's crazy is that Allen has the:

2nd highest 4th quarter completion %
2nd highest 4th quarter QB rating
6th highest QB rating inside the opponent's 10 yard line
4th most 2nd half TD passes
6th most 4th quarter TD passes
10th most passes completed late in close games

And is 0-5 in close games

I have liked it...lots of twists and turns.

Last year just seemed surreal...everything going pretty smooth and easy..not what we usually expect or get.

This was more like normal with some huge ups and downs but enough good things to show the Bills belong in the top 5 or 6 teams

But 5-1 last year and some how the football gods even things out ;)

Bucs game had funny officiating.

1-4 at least.

Some one score games are not close calls, e.g. garbage time points bringing result to one score with little time remaining.  Pittsburgh game is an example. Bills were out of time outs with under a minute to play and kicked a FG to get to down by 7, desperation on side kick failed.

Probably 50% skill, 50% luck.

Exactly. To have poor situational luck like the Bills this year and to still win your division (not to jinx us or anything) is a sign of a pretty good team.

This is why winning in the NFL is tough: parity.

If Josh Allen doesn't slip, makes the first down at the end of the Tennessee game, and we go on to win with a TD (all highly likely in a slightly different universe) we are the NO. 1 seed in the AFC right now.

And some people want to rip down our roster and build a "tough" team...

😳

As long as you're doing multiverses, got one where the officials are competent? 🤨

If we are actually living in the Bradyverse does that mean these are competent officials?

Do we need to go back in time AGAIN to bring all 6 infinity stones together to get to this universe?

Seems reasonable to me.  😉

No.  Competent officials are clearly a glitch in the matrix.

I think it’s luck more than anything…looking at the other teams a majority of them are .500 in close games pretty independently of whether they are a good or bad team. It’s also not like we are beating only bad teams by two+ scores and losing close games to all the good teams…we dismantled the chiefs and comfortably beat the pats

Its easier for them to tear it all down in hopes for some superstar team in their head than support the team in a loss and I hate it.

Agree, he wasn't that bad though he was a great Deadpool.

Now Ezra Miller as the Flash is a big WTH for me.

Pretty sure the refs don't care much about skill.  We're the #1 seed if even only the most blatant refball doesn't happen, and we're .500 in those 1 score games regardless of skill.

You should see the thread on officiating.  Interesting read, you're the guinea pig...
