I fear it will be the Cheatriots. They have two decent TEs and a bunch of average WRs. Beckham would immediately become their #1.

Mac,  whoever gets him it’s fools gold.  He is not the 2014 guy making one handed catches anymore.  He seems to have problems with separation since he’s been on the Brownies.

The thing with Odell is once a team gets to know him they don’t want him around long term… he is on his way to becoming a low priced journey man vet, jmo.

I do wonder if anyone claims him. Too risky to sign him off waivers. If he is mad and doesn’t report, then I think that team has to eat the salary.

I could be wrong, but I suspect the restructured deal with the Browns is designed such that no one will put in the claim on him for that reason, and so he gets to pick his new team.

Why don’t people want Odell. He is a diva well 80 percent of receivers are divas and want the ball. He isn’t a team guy all the tweets from giants players and browns say other wise. I’d like him in Buffalo helps diggs get open more

Why doesn't he want to play for the Browns and/or they don't want him playing for the Browns.

He is not worth $7M for half a season and if you pick up his contract it's like $17M next year.

It’s a run first offense. Diggs literally did the same thing. Plus it’s already reported he is restructuring his contract. And numbers change you always put money in different areas signing bonus or moving in back and forth so the cap hit isn’t huge

Raiders make the most on field sense. He would be one of their top targets but not their only top target and they have a decent QB. But I am not sure a Raiders team that has endured a lot of controversy this season is going to want to take on a possible distraction like Odell. KC makes on field sense and they never back away from having controversy but does Odell want to be the third option in a passing attack? NOLA makes sense from their perspective but does Odell think he can flourish with that QB situation same can be said for the Pats situation.

Bucs don't really need WR help so the possibility of a distraction serves them no benefit. I would say that the Packers make the most sense. They have plenty of targets for Odell and a QB and contention situation that makes it appealing for him and the Packers need WR help. However the Packers can be conservative as an organization. If I had to guess it would be the Raiders with KC and Green Bay not too far off.

Would it make sense for them to take on that contract?  I am guessing he clears waivers and then goes to a contender as a 1 year rental. He could sign for vet minimum, since the Browns already had to pay him over $12 million.

By 1st in line I meant on waivers.

My understanding is CLE wants to redo his contract prerelease so it’s more likely a high waiver claim is placed.

What good is adding a downfield target when Allen has about 1.3 seconds from snap to some big ugly dude in his face?

Take some attention off Diggs, who is currently our only game changing skill player on offense. Most elite offenses have more than one elite weapon. The Bills offense is stuck right now. Throwing talent at the problem is worth a try.

Diggs is getting covered by and large by 1 guy. Throwing "talent" at it in the wrong areas is pointless.

I mean, this is the type of guy that can take a 5 yard pass and make it a 40 yard TD

At least that's who he was about 2-3 years ago.

I don't think that's right. I'm pretty sure Diggs is getting bracketed because he is the only offensive player defenses are worried about going off on them. I like Sanders, he is an upgrade on John Brown, but he is not at the talent level of Beckham. Defenses actually have to game plan to take away Beckham. Trying to defend him and Diggs together would be a nightmare. Also I think we can get him relatively cheap and with a chip on his shoulder. The pass protection is going to be an issue this year no matter what, that doesn't mean we stop trying to add talent.

I picked the Falcons for this, but it really sounds like he's headed to Seattle. Saw Schefty say Russ Wilson is pushing for it to happen and Beckham wants to go there. They could simply claim him (they have the cap room and are at #9 in waiver list) or I'm wondering if they already have a deal in place "unofficially" to see if he clears waivers. May also add to the reasoning the Beckham is saying he may cause trouble if the "wrong team" picks him.

Just will be glad the isn't making it here.

I seriously doubt it Seattle is done plain and simple this year.

Has anyone told them that? Have they started packing to go home? Can you provide a link or even a tweet that may indicate that they have finished? What will Russ Wilson be doing with this extra time? Is the stadium in Seattle now available to be rented and used for paint ball tournaments? So many questions. This is big if true.
