Week 6: Bills at Titans on MNF

The Bills looked downright sleepy when we played the Titans last season. The Steelers game, week one, reminded me a lot of that game.

This last victory vs KC does nothing to assuage my anxiety over this game. The Titans can run hot or cold, and they’ve been a bit cold this season. They’ve been cold this season, but they were pretty hot vs the Jags. Of course… Jags…

I know McD and the Bills are going to focus, and travel to Tennessee ready. I want to see a decisive win, without injury. Go into the bye, then come out and hand Miami another humiliating shutout— this time in our house

How does one know the favorite band of our back up TE, who was also on IR the entire year last year.

Fair question, and the answer is: Social media. Particularly pictures of him wearing Dead gear.

Oh, and this:

The easy formula here is score early and force Tenn to abandon the run game. Easier said than done but if the Bills can get 3 scores in the first half and eat some clock they will be less likely to run Henry 30 times. Extra day of rest plus a DL that goes 8 to 9 deep should win the day.

True, but Tennessee is so stubborn with the run game.

They were down like 14 against Seattle in the 4th and were still running it lol.

They got really good patience In not panicking in games, I'll give them that.

It's going to be interesting to see who they activate on the DL for this game since they will focus on stopping the run. Phillips and Butler in place of Boogie and Obada?

Ya good question.

I think They'll choose one from butler or Phillips.

Could be wrong though and maybe they do activate both of them.

As Rich Eisen said “the Bills settle all the family business next Monday in Tenn”

I want to see that same look on Vrabel’s face that we saw on Kelce’s face last night in the fourth quarter.

Then maybe the Cardinals in the Super Bowl.  That would avenge all 2020 losses...oh and get us that Lombardi :)

Henry in the last two games against the Bills has had 39 carries for 135 yards, under a 3.5 YPC clip.

I don't want to say I am not that worried about him, but the Bills have done a nice job against him historically.

I don’t think they looked “sleepy”, they just looked bad. Josh’s shoulder was injured and they were missing Tre White, Levi Wallace, Matt Milano, John brown, and Zach moss. Their starting corners were josh Norman and cam Lewis. Andre roberts started at WR. They also had quinton Spain just decide at game time he was going to be inactive with a phantom  booboo foot.  I think the back and forth on whether the game was actually happening screwed with their prep too. But every other time they’ve played the Titans recently  they seem to match up pretty well.

Yes! I had this thought today while listening to my Bills podcasts on a walk.
I don’t buy the Cards though. More like I don’t buy their HC. Something thinks they come back to Earth and one loss turns into several more.

I don't think the Titans match up that well with us....in our favor. I know we lost last year, but even last year was kind of a weird game in a lot of ways. Our run defense was a lot more suspect last year and even then they didn't really run that much on us.

They don't have a good defense but have a relatively slow plodding offense that nickels and dimes you down the field, obviously love to run.

We need to be ourselves let Josh do his thing...work in some of this balanced offense we've been really excellent at this year. Put up points and TDs. This Titans defense should not stop us, and I don't see the turnovers like last year.

Ultimately, I don't think the Titans can keep up with us on offense and that will be our best bet to eliminate / neutralize Henry.

Like someone else posted, we get out to a big enough lead, Henry will be a non factor. But to me, the big thing here will be our D line FEASTING on an extremely bad Tit-ans Oline. Tannehill may not survive this game and may very well go the way of Tua. This D line has really come together and the rotation is becoming a nightmare for O coordinators, just ask Bienemy.

That's where I'm at. I actually don't hate the Chiefs or any player on that team. Just tired of them.

The Titans on the other hand!!!

Believe me, the Titans are and always will be my most hated team. Being from Tennessee, and seeing their logos disgusts me. And I still haven't forgotten Bud Adams double bird. Revenge indeed, for a multitude of reasons

I'm just tired of the narrative with them.  OH THEY ARE SO AMAZING!  (meanwhile are literally handed 1st downs by the refs and are allowed to do whatever on defense).

It's the same stuff that Collinsworth was spewing last night.  They didn't play bad and the bills didnt play good.  Neither was true.

I feel it. I know two Titans fans here in Toledo. Good people, but come football season they make me want to hurt things.
