Those tickets are going to sell out so fast. Soon as you're able to purchase they will be gone within a matter of a few minutes I bet lol

Well the Covid protocols are going to make it hard for out-of-staters to attend.

https://www.buffalobills.com/tickets/playoff-tickets-faq

First off, you have to arrive 2-3 days early to get tested. Then you're supposed to quarantine for 10-14 days prior, which basically impossible at this point because the playoffs are 9 days away.

I'm wondering what the process will be for "substitute" ticket holders to get in the stadium on game day, when those ahead of them fail to provide proof that they don't have COVID.

There's going to be a certain % of ticket holders who aren't going to get in and there should be others allowed to take their place.

Was wondering the same -- or for those who choose to purchase but then test comes back positive.

this is a great question.   There will certainly be a handful of people testing positive, and the Bills would have to offer those tickets  up pretty quickly so whoever snatches them up can go get their test.

I wonder if they’ll basically “go to waste”?

I’m in Canada so it’s moot to me - but I don’t think it should be done on seniority as that wasn’t a condition for getting seats if any were released, back when I left my payments on account vs taking the refund.

They didn't know when and how many fans would be let in. Everything is always done by seniority with the Bills so it's only fair to maintain that. I became a STHer in 2003 so 17 years is good but there are plenty more who are longer.

Season ticket holder 41 years and opted in. Hoping to get a chance but wil have a 230 mile round trip just to get tested. Can deal with that but my concern.

If I opt in for the Wild Card weekend I understand I would be ineligible for the Division game and if the Bills won and the Chiefs lose would I not be eligible for the Championship game.

Seems the least senior season tix holder have the upper hand and a better shot at the more important games. with all respect to less senior ticket holders seems a little unfair. I want to go to a playoff game but I also want a shot @ Championship game.

Tough call. Bird in the hand and all that. I'm from out-of-state so I may be disqualified anyway.

I think the new laws are 3 day quarantine as long as you have proof of a negative test within three days prior to your arrival in NYS.  So, you could test out of state, arrive 3 days prior, get the Lot 4 test, and then attend the game, if I'm thinking correctly?

This of course doesn't account for people just lying about where they've been/how long they've been there.  Happened at the airports all summer/fall.

That's allowed by the NFL of course.  Thundersticks?  Megaphone made from your game program? Banging on the seat backs in front of you? Think! How can we make the most noise possible?

Only STH and no secondary market, so no opposing fans. Unless a STH brings one maybe.

Does anyone know if other teams have followed this basic process?  Seems like games I've seen on TV that allowed fans have included opposing fans

Has anyone received an email w/instructions from the Bills yet?

The FAQ page says the following...

  • Quote

    • Based on seniority, Non-Club Season Ticket Members will receive an email from the Buffalo Bills with a set time to go online and select tickets on Thursday, December 31, 2020 or Friday, January 1, 2021.

Does that mean we'll be sent an email on Thursday, Dec. 31st or Friday, Jan. 1st telling us when we can select tickets, OR

Does that mean we'll be sent an email at some point and be able to purchase tickets on either Dec. 31st or Jan. 1st?

1. STH who.opted in, will be given priority based on seniority

2. No public sale or secondary market

3. STH who buy for wild card round, are not eligible for division round (if we advance and fans still allowed)

What about eligibility for AFCCG

So when only 3k fans of the fans that opted into seasons this year accept the tickets what happens with the other 3k since there is no secondary market?

(I'm assuming most of our STH are old and don't want to go through the hassle of getting tested to go to a game or expose themselves).

Anyone willing to sell or trade tickets (LV Raiders ticket- come out to Vegas and have some fun) get at me!

Tickets are non-transferable, so guessing a trade or the secondary market ain't gonna work...

Interesting - they are including $11 charge for parking, assume as another discouragement for parking/tailgating in private lot

Also - "Existing suite holders will be directly contacted by their suite representative" - seems like this would be separate from the general sale - so the corporate crowd can be taken care of as well

Concessions open - AND NO LINES FOR THE BATHROOM!

13K account holders, each could buy 2-4 tickets. So let's do some math. Say half buy 2 and half 4. That's 39K tickets. Assume we host two games that's 13K tickets available. So around 2/3rds of those account holders will be left out. If by some miracle we host 3 games then half would be able to buy.

EDIT: Just heard from Andy Major that the ACTUAL number of tickets for fans will be 6,200. The other 500 or so are for league and team use.

So who gets the chance to buy tickets first?

They said season ticket holders who opted into purchasing tickets earlier this year

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30625221/buffalo-bills-granted-permission-fans-playoff-game-first-crowd-season

"Roughly 6,200 tickets will be available for purchase on Thursday to season-ticket holders who opted into purchasing tickets earlier this year. Tickets are not expected to be available to the general public."

Also said

"Fans are required to pay for their COVID-19 testing, which will be administered in Lot 4 at Bills Stadium at a "reduced cost" of $63. The cost of the test will be included in the ticket price."
