  1. It’ll be like most new stadiums, first 3-5 years it’s a shiny new toy and people are willing to pay for the experience. But at the end of the day its just a ‘vehicle’ to host an event and the newness premium fades away. I actually did a study on that for my thesis in university. Wasn’t terribly deep but clearly a trend that prices shoot up with new venues and slowly come back down over time. No guarantee, but that’s what often happens.
  2. I still plan to come from Toronto, but hoping to hear the border has reopened soon and of course the roads. Not worried about parking, I’ll just come early and go to a restaurant or something.
  3. I just hope the border crossing stays open, I’m tempted to come in from Canada tonight rather than wait till tomorrow.
  4. I bet the parlay and win enough for a very large bottle of vodka if the bills are out. That way I can drown my sorrows.
  5. I’m getting excited about next year. Lucked into some depth on D now when these injuries are behind us. And I think if we focus on WR in the draft, that’s the current missing piece. Maybe even trade #88 for a WR of similar caliber - would be a win win trade, we are a bit redundant at TE.
  6. I was watching on cbs from Canada today. At 4pm they switched over to golf and we missed the last couple minutes. Did wivb do that in Buffalo today to?
  7. It was fine for me in Canada last year. I’m going to get it again for the season, hopefully no major changes. We get every single game, and you can buy six months for $100, and split with a friend for $50 each (two devices at once is ok). In $US it’s about $75. We Canadians get ripped off on so much, but at least DAZN is reasonable by comparison to that sh*t show between Google/YouTube, paramount, Amazon and whoever else grabs streaming rights that you guys have to deal with.
  8. Maybe it’s an issue with Dorsey, I thought the play calling last year was as bread and butter as things can be.
  9. To me it does. If they were confident about selling out to season seat holders, they wouldn’t need a secondary list. I do agree that $150 isn’t much, but to me it’s the signal sent by creating a backup list of interested people. $150 is just enough to prevent people who don’t have a genuine interest from adding their name to the list.
  10. I guess the plus side is the bills stay in Buffalo and I can still go to a game or two a year.
  11. The bills sent out two emails this morning about the new stadium and season seats. The first was to tell current season seat holders they are at the front of the line for the new stadium. The second was to app subscribers etc inviting them to make a $150 deposit to hold a place in line for seasons to the new stadium. Given the seating capacity reduction in store for the new stadium, makes me a bit nervous to see that they anticipate they will have season seats available to new subscribers / members. Makes me thing they expect a lot of attrition and turn over with the PSL pricing and new seat pricing. I do expect to be priced out of my seats but I’ll still get something. Mine are behind the bills bench in a low row. I anticipate them rebranding those seats as clubs and pricing accordingly. When I look at other teams and stadiums, many of the seats between the 35s on the lower bowls are sold as club seats … but in Buffalo they’ve traditionally been regular seats sold at a small premium, but nowhere near club pricing.
  12. Yea, that includes TM fees. Prices were also triple for mid field lower bowl.
  13. Prices were more than triple the season seat cost! A friend has 300 level seats in price zone 8, seasons are $600 per seat. If you bought a seat for each game in the same section/row off Ticketmaster, it would have been $1,900 per seat for the entire season!
  14. Playing the jags in London is like being the visiting side. Dumb…
  15. I don’t blame the bills. Significant number of seats will end up on resale. Either the bills sell at market price, or the scalpers will. I’d rather the revenue go to the bills.
  16. I think he’s a very good head coach / motivator and team manager and very well prepared for gameday, but he’s not great functionally and needs stronger support at DC and OC.
  17. First off, I do commend this team - they did well given the bizarre season they endured. I stayed to the end yesterday just to applaud them for their effort. I think the season finally caught up to them yesterday, it happens. One change I support tho is moving on from Dorsey. So many OCs can make a third string QB look good with an effective system and I just saw a lot of randomness and lack of creativity out of ours. Gonna be tough next year, we have cap realities to deal with and a pretty tough schedule. I think next year might be a bit of a step back before we move forward again, sort of like the early Beane/McD years. That would be a shame tho as Josh is hitting his prime.
  18. How did you see the pricing? I was curious if it was the same pricing for both season seat fan groups in the presale or if maybe the bills and chiefs set pricing for their fans independently. I ended up buying upper bowl. At Highmark I’m row 16 on the 40 behind the bills bench, but here it was over double the price (was $300 per seat in Buffalo).
