billsfan89 Posted November 1, 2020 Share Posted November 1, 2020 This team needs a true one tech, it's the one move the Bills can make affordably and it would at least give them a shot to play at least effective run defense. The Jags on 2017 were a great defense but succeptible to getting run on up the middle. They then traded for Dareus and it got better to the point where they got to bet a better than average rush defense by years end. Trade a 4th for Delvin Tomlinson. Cheap cap wise and just a rental on the last year of his rookie deal. Zimmer I would say worse than Harrison, he's constantly getting pushed off the ball. Harrison sort of holds his blocks and he did make a nice stop. But they are both not great there. We've got a DT room full of 3 techs. They are 6-2 with what we could all agree was loaded front half of the schedule & they just put a nail in the coffin of the team that has won the division 11 years in a row and has tormented us for the past 2 decades. If you can't be happy about the Bills situation this morning my guess is there is no pleasing you. A wise old man once told me "90% of the fun is enjoying the journey to get to your destination." There is a lot of truth to that statement as I remember Bills super bowl runs, and the funnest times were watching that team grow and continue to take steps to where they wanted to go. Go rewatch the 89 Monday night game against the Broncos. They loss the game but I remember Dierdorf mentioned at the top of the game he has never seen a city so excited about the future of this team and mentioned a few times about the electricity in the stadium that night.
