Gimme someone who has done it in the Big time...

Okay, Jefferson is also 5 years younger.

On a deal of a couple million a year.

Jefferson and 7th Rounder or Diggs, 4th Rounder, 5th and 6th?

We’ll see, but Beane’s calculation was not completely correct.

Based on what?

Jefferson had huge production at an SEC school and better combine metrics.

Imagine arguing SEC production for a rookie over NFL production for a Vet entering his prime...

You can get away with being a not so good drafting team when you have a hof qb That time is done

I guess they are playing the odds by amassing 13 picks.

I think you need to factor in who is going to be better in the next 2 years with no off season this year, and the Bills SB window well and truly open in JA's final rookie years...

Same. The rest of the picks thrown in would be long shots to make a loaded , deep roster.

Diggs is too 5 in the game.

Jefferson probability of getting to that level is so slim. He's like another Treadwell , first Rd bust

Top 5 in the game...

With two low 1,000 yard seasons?

Diggs is fine, but Bills fans talk about him like he’s a league leader.

Once upon a time, teams were criticised for letting high draft picks walk after their first contract and backfilling those holes with other high draft picks.    Now teams are lauded for it (unless they're the Bills).

Go figure...

It’s all about timing, production, and cost to replace that production. You let a Levi Wallace walk if he gets $8M on the open market because you can replace him with a mid round pick.

Replacing Antoine Smith with Nate Clements then letting Clements walk is bad business. We later went McKelvin to Gilmore to Darby to Tre. That’s 3 1sts and a 2nd on your CB. That’s generally also very bad business. I love Tre, but he’s only the pick there because we’ve mismanaged CB specifically for too long..

You can’t keep everybody but you can do it right.

Jefferson won't match Diggs's production.

SB Window? Lets slow things down a little and start with maybe winning a playoff game and not getting embarrassed by blowing a very winnable playoff game......

Agreed, plus you gotta bank that Jefferson will be ready to contribute this season. To say the least it will be a weird off season, especially for rookies.

Again for the people in the back, PROVEN talent for a WIN NOW team.

I dont care about 3 to 5 years from now, besides if the Bills are big proven winner in that time, vet players start coming on discounts, look at NE.

It’s not to say Diggs sucks, it’s just that Jefferson is a good prospect in his own right.

I’m not especially attached to the mid rounders we gave away, but I don’t think we fleeced Minnesota or anything seeing how this has turned out.

I think it’s closer than a landslide to the Bills that’s all.

I didn’t expect so many kitchen table type setups. We look professional here.

Shefter gets all the scoops for lying to us for months.
