I mean it was a tough spot.  He was one of the best players in the nfl.  I feel as bad as you can for a professional athletes who are running backs.  They get the crap kicked out of them and teams don’t want to pay them.  I don’t how why you ever want to be a rb if you could play another position.

Oh me too. Thats why i never fault a player for getting his money whenever he can. That said, poorly managed by the Rams

Agreed.

I don't think anyone saw him breaking down the way he did. For all the ACL repairs we've seen, we rarely see a player have to sit during the team's Super Bowl run. He was having a great season. I don't fault the Rams for giving him the money. They were going all in. And they almost won it all. But now they are in a bind and this is the kind of move you have to make.

As for Gurley now, I don't really know what to make of him. He can't shoulder the load anymore. New contract will be interesting.

Better that than any peter pan photos unless he wears one.

I reacted to Davis’ picture like Bluto did to Kent Dorffman’s in Animal House. Aaauuuugggghhhh!!!!!

If the money is the same between him and Gordon (and assuming it's a 1-2 year deal which is what I expect both of them to eventually sign), I would prefer we sign Gurley.

Gurley fits.  A part-time role, which prolongs his career, very good in pass protection, great hands and can run between the tackles or bounce it outside.

The Bills would be a terror on 3rd downs.

...I'd spend the money on a GURNEY versus GURLEY or MELVIN.......SMH...........

Gordon has only played a full 16 games once and only went over 1k once. we still don't know how injury prone Singletary is.

no thanks. I'd rather draft someone with the 2nd pick.

its a no brainer lol

Gurley when healthy is a top 3. RB in the league, arguably #1. Gordon isn't even top 10

Supporting evidence #157358492376997653903658390 on why to NEVER PAY A RB. You will not get Value

Except McCaffrey

Ya.  Part if his issue was the knee injury his last year with dawgs.   He came back strong but that took longevity our if him I think.

He was awesome...now meh

What a shame.  From a talent standpoint, he's the best back in football, in my opinion.  Hall of Fame talent.

Robbed of NFL MVP in 2017!
