Your favorite Bills conspiracy theory?

Mine: someone in the Arizona cardinals organization leaked the Josh Allen high school tweets on eve of draft day in order for him to fall to them. They tried to trade up with Denver to get him. Elway didn’t bite and the Bills traded up and got their man. Chris Simms said the cardinals were devastated they didn’t get Allen.

However: I’ve heard some speculate that someone in the Bills organization leaked the tweets to get Allen (seeing as how we got him when others didn’t).

*i think Allen was going #1 to browns until these tweets surfaced

I don't know if it qualifies as a conspiracy theory, however, I believe that the refs in the Titans playoff game knew damn well it was an illegal forward pass but they were intimidated by the crowd. In those days the ref went under a little shroud or hood and looked at a tv monitor right near the stands. I think the refs decided not to call it back because they were scared of a violent reaction from the fans. Whether just bottle throwing or a full blown riot, whether they were just scared for their own safety or decided that an incident would look bad for the league, I believe the refs gave the Titans the game in spite of what they saw on the field and on the replay.

I disagree that Allen was going #1 to Browns.  As I recall, the tweets surfaced the morning of the draft, possibly the day before.  By that point, the Mayfield to Browns train was already in full motion

The Flutie Curse.  Really, just poor roster management and constantly trying to add a piece or two to improve a 6 win team caused the last 20 years to suck.  I’m not a pro-tank person, but sitting in the middle killed two decades of football.  Of course, it’s easy in hindsight to find players after our picks who could have been stars on our team. But regardless, sitting in the middle of every draft, and trying to improve that did us in

Mine is the powers that be, or the big guy upstairs has it in for us .

From the Hail Mary pass interference on Henry Jones against the patriots

ronnie Harmon

wide right

Thurman’s helmet

Throwback

McKelvins fumble on return

Hulls foot in crease

flyers goal through side of net

it seems to never end!

Have a feeling we are turning the corner!!

Lamonica traded to Oakland because of rumors with Kemp’s wife. Nary a peep from the team, but all of WNY was talking about it like they knew. Much more likely the fans just hated the trade because they thought Daryl was the better QB..

That Bill Cowher would have been our coach if it wasn't for his wife (God rest her soul).

...TRUE story....the late RW offered Bill $10 mil/yr and Cowher texted back and forth with Brandon about it...the late Mrs C was Carolina comfy and wanted no part of life in Bflo, much the same as Sabres Drury had his wife nix re-signing versus the Rangers in the Big Apple......if Cowher wanted to return to coaching, the Carolina job was his (in his back yard) when Fox was fired....the booth was more comfy......

Old time, I thought this was true and almost had confirmation.

Coach Cowher and I frequented the same Starbuck's in Raleigh (Six Forks and Lassiter Mill) for a number of years.  One Saturday morning he was in front of me in line and my boys had their Bills gear on....the Barista at the time was a kid from Buffalo and also a huge Bills fan.

Both the Barista and I said, "Coach are we going to see you roaming the sidelines at Ralph Wilson Stadium next year?"  He just smiled at both of us and said Buffalo was a great football town.  I thought for sure we had him.

A really nice man by the way... talked to my son -- who was a Mighty Mite pass rusher and tackle for about 10 minutes and gave him some good pointers.

The dope who slid down the railing in the upper deck was actually in cahoots with the people below, all in search of a big lawsuit/payday. He missed and landed in the wrong row, messing up their best laid plans. The rest is history. This is true.

As far as you know.

...WOW!...thanks for sharing a great story.....a close friend of mine who was close friends with Brandon actually saw the texts on Russ' phone...couldn't believe Ralph would pony up $ 10 mil....they were also talking to Shanascam but he wanted too much control which hearkened back to the nightmarish control freak days of Donohole which collapsed Ralph's "Inner Circle of Trust"...hence he promoted Brandon into uncharted/no experience waters and "re-tired" Marv with polyglass radials from the 70's....and "F Troop" began......

Wide Right, they narrowed the uprights.

While the kick was in the air....NFL should pay for all the therapy Norwood needed.  Letting the Giants win like that was crazy..

You gotta cater to the big markets, like...well, that team from New Jersey.

The Bills lost SuperBowls because they were partying too much. Never mind that the Raiders were legendary partiers in the 70’s and 80’s but had little trouble winning.

Because da Raidahs’ opponents also showed up with a hangover so it was still a level playing field? :P

Oh, I know full well you wouldn’t, but was jokingly suggesting your friend might be ‘Dunkirk Don’, without you even knowing it.

...who the hell would need enemies??....some day, I'll post the details of Pegula's 4 year, $19.6 mil extension offer to Marrone and how that unfolded, eventually crashing...Brandon was already in Florida for the holidays and TP summoned Whaley to Boca.....
