BruceVilanch
With the signings of John Brown and Cole Beasley, I think it is a vote of confidence from the front office and coaching staff for Robert Foster and Zay Jones. I'm not saying they won't draft someone but I think this shows that they have confidence in the development so far in Foster and Jones. I think Robert has a chance to be a #1 and Zay can flourish when he's not the second best wr on the field and Brown and Foster will open up the middle for him. If we draft TJ Hock this passing attack could look borderline scary. Go bills!
Virgil
If all are healthy and good, we did well out of the spread formation last year. A part of me wonder if Zay is on thin ice though
Mark80
I think Zay is a dead man walking. Williams, Brown, Beasley...the writing is certainly on the wall for him.
Rc2catch
It’s all on Allen. No target monsters, can he spread the ball around? If he can, we got something now. No way you run those 4 receivers out there and nobody is open.
BuffaloBillies
Keep 'em all. Should be fun! Zay was looking good second half of season last year.
Clyde Smith
Duke Williams can wind up being better than both.
TigerJ
I think Foster is safe anyway, and probably Zay Jones too, but for Zay I think it means more competition for touches and playing time. In other words, he's going to have to make his reps count, or they could start to dwindle.
White Linen
Zay as I've been stating for some time - is going not given a starting spot. He'll earn playing time or won't play.

SCBills
Josh Allen is a Red Zone weapon, and we could draft, say, Hockenson to give us Kroft/Hockenson in that area of the field. Regardless, Foster-Beasley-Brown-Zay is a legit WR group with McKenzie and Duke as depth.
racketmaster
I think Mcbeane wanted some experienced and professional WRs in the room next year. Guys that can be counted on to lead the room and have consistent performances. Foster can learn from the veterans as will Williams and possibly McKenzie. As for Zay, I think it spells the end of the road for him in Buffalo. They did not pay Brown and Beasley that much to sit the bench and Foster showed to be a much greater wr last year. That puts Zay at best the 4th wr but the Bills brought in Williams for a reason and he will be ahead of Zay as well because he is the one wr that offers the bigger body red zone presence. As the 5th wr, Zay will not be kept unless he becomes a special teams ace so I would expect the Bills to try and make a deal involving Zay while they can.
FeelingOnYouboty
We played a lot of 4 WR sets towards the end of the season. I'd say this is a big vote of confidence for them. Still think we add a mid round WR in the Draft but these 4 are getting majority of the snaps. Now if Duke Williams shows us something #eyeballemoji
Logic
I think it shows they DO have faith in Foster and Jones, AND that they wanted to add some veteran presence. JUST adding rookies to an already young WR room wouldn't have been the best move for a young QB.

Bing Bong
On paper, John Brown is our #1, and he can be for most WR poor rosters. But I'm sure everyone around the Bills likes Foster's chances of being the focal point while John Brown is WR 1b. I love the John Brown signing.. P51
Love this signing in addition to Brown's earlier! The Bills are going to be able to go spread/empty and force teams into 2 deep coverage, allowing Allen to run if needed, while having the parts needed threaten all areas of the field in the passing game. If they get the oline figured out, they will have the components of a fully functional offense.
thebandit27
The best thing about Buffalo's WR corps is that they have multiple players of each style with which they had success last year. Boundary speed guys are Foster and Brown Shifty slot guys are Beasley and Jones Gadget/YAC types are McKenzie and Bolden I'd still like to see them add a guy with WR1 upside in the draft, but this is a good start to a much-needed makeover

Not really, he was still dropping passes and making catches he did make look hard. He also still was not good at getting separation and most his production came on broken plays where Allen bought more time with his legs. WR's need to help Josh by winning on their route, something Zay did very little of.

They both need that to carry over to camp and build on it. The good news is we just grabbed a couple of guys that are there if he doesn't take the next step. Depth is good! ?
