2nd half thread: Wk 6 Bills at Texans, 1 pm on CBS

Recommended Posts

I just replayed the illegal formation.  It looks like Pat "useless as breasts on a bull, but somehow a team captain" DiMarco, was on the LOS, covering up Croom, and only giving the Bills 3 in the backfield.  I've been saying this guy is a waste of a roster spot for two years now.  He must have pictures of McD with goats.

His awareness, particularly on 3rd down, might actually be getting worse. He's not even trying to work past his primary read anymore.

It's just look at primary receiver, and if he's not open try to run for a 1st down.

Sadly I have to agree with this.

I’ll rephrase..  Why are they playing?  I’ve never seen anything go right with DiMarco as a focal point.  I’ve seen stuff go wrong.  Same for Ray Ray.

The NFL needs to get rid of illegal formations. What a stupid p[enalty in modern football. Just make it so that offensive linemen have to line up in a certain way so they can't gain an advantage over D-Line, but Dimarco covering up a receiver is just plain stupid.

And he flag was thrown 5 minutes later after the snap.....

That tells me they weren't going to throw the flag had the play been unsuccessful but because it was completed they decided to throw the flag. I believe refs do this stuff all the time in games

McDermott playing for moral victory or the win?  Your defense is giving you a chance, be aggresive and throw on first down

McDermott has nothing to do with the offensive play calling. Daboll maybe?
