YoloinOhio
love all the people who danced on the Mack threads here for weeks saying he would never be traded, he would be tagged, we were all stupid, etc.

KingBoots8
Knew the price would be too much, but it was nice to dream. We have too many other needs right now to trade it all away for one player. I wish him well and am happy we don’t need to see him 2x a year 1

McNubbins
I knew he wouldn't come to the bills, too bad he went to a team we play this year. I'm happy it's NOT another team in the division at least. Edited September 1, 2018 by McNubbins

Brianmoorman4jesus
I knew a team would do it, I just knew it wouldn’t be us. The Bills almost never draft good players but they act like draft picks are more important then having proven talent. 5
Virgil
!@#$. I was hoping this would just be a link to Peter Pan. It was a nice dream. Hopefully the ransom is so high that I wouldn’t have wanted it or he doesn’t sign an extension and comes here anyways
Inigo Montoya
We need our picks and cap space to bolster the O line next year. Sure would have been nice to get him back to Buffalo though.... Edited September 1, 2018 by Inigo Montoya 2

dollars 2 donuts
I would have loved him, too, but come on guys. Seriously, how badly do we need those picks for our offensive line next year (not a question). I'll say it again, you are less likely to get quality OLinemen in free agency than most other positions. You have to get them in the draft. Edited September 1, 2018 by dollars 2 donuts

YoloinOhio
I’m glad he’s in the nfc and as awesome as it would have been, I think he’s more of a guy you go after at that price when you are ready to contend, not when you need your picks to build around your qb. Bears are a year ahead of us on the rebuild. Edited September 1, 2018 by YoloinOhio

H2o
Waiting to see what the compensation is. I expect a king's ransom tbh with at least the two first round picks. Wish he would have ended up in Buffalo, but relieved he didn't go to the Jets. Edited September 1, 2018 by H2o

I think they believe that too, but they need to know who they are and where they are too before they dance on the yacht with red wine and cigars and no OL or WR to provide their hopeful franchise QB. scribo
It always made best sense for the Raiders to trade with a non-AFC team. Get him as far from your QB as possible.

One third round pick is slightly different. Plus they have to trade for WRs. Can’t have all rookies, and try getting a decent WR to sign here in FA without massively overpaying with the QB situation they’ve had.
