President Donald J. Trump's Supreme Court Associate Justice Kavanaugh

Recommended Posts

It turns out the American Bar Association story on Brett Kavanaugh was FAKE NEWS

Remember this big BOMBSHELL yesterday that said the American Bar Association called for a delay in a vote on SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh? From the New York Times

But, surprise! It was Fake News.

The Senate Judiciary Committee released this letter on Friday from the ABA stating that Robert Carlson, the President of the American Bar Association who wrote the letter, didn’t get the it approved by the committee that actually votes on this sort of thing and that the ABA’s rating of Judge Kavanaugh “is not affected”.

Actual New York Times headline:

Trump Agrees to Open ‘Limited’ F.B.I. Investigation Into Accusations Against Kavanaugh

Quotes theirs.

Yep.  Democrats are going to argue the FBI investigation wasn't thorough enough, and call for more time.  And the media's right there with them.

Garland lol

While I recognize this is wishful thinking, the idea of Trump putting up Barrett to replace RBG is just too funny. Everyone knows she can barely keep her head up at this point. Does anyone really think she can make it another six years?

The left will puke themselves like a South Park character and it will be glorious to watch these condescending, hypocritical nutbags go full Libtard like nothing we've ever seen.

This is my favorite hope as far as the political landscape goes. My hope is that she kicks it right around the time that trump gets 4 more, and then he puts Barrett in her place.

In all reality, it's ridiculous that she and the dems had the hubris to think that Hillary was such a shoe in that she wasn't better off retiring during the Obama admin and letting him replace her.

If this doesn't get men to the polls in November to protect their right of "innocent until proven guilty", nothing will.

Soooo my husband who is generally apolitical, and has never voted in his life, is so pissed at the "guilty until proven innocent" aspect of this hearing that he just (like 2 minutes ago) registered to vote.

If someone like him plans on voting this year, I cannot imagine what the turnout is going to be like in November.

How on earth can someone think, write and click enter as Tom Arnold did here?

Further proof the internet is the bane of humanity.

Not joking, btw. It will go down as the single most negative technological achievement in human history.

One of my favorite moments was when Blumenthal invoked the Roman principle of "Falsus in uno, Falsus in omnibus."

Of course he neglected to mention his gross lying about having served in Vietnam.

Evidently, that principle doesn't apply to him.

I've got to give an Ian Malcolm meme to this (not possible without the internet).

It's a perfect Trump move.  Troll the !@#$ out of the left, RBG goes to pasture or gets buried in it and then Garland is nominated. How the !@#$ does the Democratic party oppose that?

This is actually a genius move.

After securing a 5-4, throw Garland in there to keep it 4.

I'm confident they'd still find a way to oppose him.

That she went over the evidence and found it where NONE of the Dems did is embarrassing. Great catch by her. And you are right that Dems did not follow up on it, but Lindsey saw it right away, it seems, and that led to his outburst to gum up the works.

My guess is that reporters are all over this now looking for the house, asking where these kids lived, probably knocking on doors and such.

No wonder the ABA said slow down.

the ABA didn't say slow down, it was one individual. i didnt see anywhere where it stated that he spoke on behalf of the entire ABA.

how many liberals does it take to screw in a light bulb?

They already have a light bulb head in that scumbag NJ senator.

Booker is the biggest POS I have ever seen. Harris and Feinstein are a very close second. Take your pick.

Hell, who am I kidding.............. the Democratic Party is nothing but scumbags, while the Republican Party is nothing but spineless trolls.

Politics is what is wrong with this country as none of them are for their constituents.

Or when Ford suddenly becomes afraid to fly, or sick, or any other reason to delay her FBI interview "for another few days..."

Meanwhile what's the betting line on how many new accusers come forward? I think the line is probably around 3....

Creepy porn lawyer is good for an accusation or two the day before the vote. The Dems are good for at least one during the week, probably toward the end of the week to keep the FBI investigation going. Three is definitely possible this week. They can't do too many this week, as they need to save some to stretch this past the mid-terms. They will spread them out over the next month.

If the R's are smart they'll have their PACs run adds talking about this.

The FBI only needs to talk with 4 to 5 supposed witnesses that Psychologist-Actor Christine Ford gave.  Two of those witnesses, the main witnesses actually, have already swore under penalty of perjury that they know nothing of Psychologist-Actor Christine Ford's allegation against Brett Kavanaugh.  So, their FBI interviews should take 10 minutes each.  They'll just affirm what they already stated (or change what they already stated and go to jail as well as lose all credibility).

That leaves 2 to 3 other second tier witnesses.  Who have already stated that they can't verify Psychologist-Actor Christine Ford's allegation against Brett Kavanaugh.

The FBI should be wrapping up their investigation by now.  Maybe we have a confirmation vote for Brett Kavanaugh today.

No, they have to give it the full week.  You know, for appearances.
