President Donald J. Trump's Supreme Court Associate Justice Kavanaugh

If this one week FBI pause goes through I think we're done with the outlandish rape allegations. The dems blew their load on that with Avenatti.  Instead we'll be on to the Kavanaugh is a blackout prone alcoholic allegations.

How many new accusers will come forth in the week span? How many of those will lead to new demands to delay?

It's all a political trick because they think we're stupid.

Remember who's holding this up. Remember who's embarrassing themselves and endangering our system of justice. Then vote them out.

Tiberius slipped up.  He said viability when he should have said validity.  There's no validity to Psychologist-Actor Christine Ford's sexual assault claim against Brett Kavanaugh.  None.  She proved that yesterday with her train-wreck testimony.

But, there is viability.  Viable in the political sense that the Democrats can use this lie as another delay for Brett Kavanaugh's Senate approval for the USSC.

Face it. Tiberius.  You F'd up.

Do you think Gleeful Gator even knows the difference between those two words?

Yes, because they may have been abused, Dr. Ford naturally has to be right regarding her accusations.

Mark Judge now says he will cooperate.

If they actually delay for the FBI to investigate, the FBI should kick them all in the nuts for assigning them to the most impossible investigation ever.

The FBI should just turn around and hand the committee everything that the committee already has. Just on prettier paper. Put it on FBI stationary to make it look official. Then, flip the committee the bird.

Even if the FBI had jurisdiction (which they don't), what do they expect them to do? They will interview the same witnesses and get the same statements. No interpretation of the results.

All I know is that Psychologist-Actor Christine Ford is a liar and a fraud.  Her sexual assault claim against Brett Kavanaugh is completely baseless.

This is all a scam to delay Brett Kavanaugh's USSC approval by the Senate.

Yesterday was just an emotional cluster**** in Congress that should've never happened.  I think they should confirm in given it was an uncorroborated story 35 years ago or so.

Based on everything that came out and yesterday's hearings, I think they were both telling what they believed to be the truth.  It's possible that a 17 year old Kavanaugh got too drunk to remember the incident and Ford's memory of the incident was worse than it really was.   As far as the other allegations, totally fabricated by bad actors and a scumbag lawyer.  Then you hand that informational over to politicians and you got what you saw yesterday.

Whether there is any truth to the accusations or not the left is running with this and using as many dirty tricks as they can come up with.

The problem with delaying this is it will only heighten tensions even more.  The FBI will come out with the same conclusion they did in the Thomas/Hill inquiry.  It's a he said/she said and we're right back to where we started.

Dr. Ford appears to be a Drama Queen and I tend to not take Drama Queens seriously.

If a week long delay at most helps our country bridge the divide so that the Supreme court can retain its integrity regardless of how I feel personally about the unsubstantiated allegations its ok by me.

It won't.  You really think a week-long delay settles anything down?  This encourages the Jacobins to double-down on their bull **** tactics, confirms the legal principle of "guilty until proven innocent," encourages rule by mob hysteria...the next time they don't get their way, someone's going to get shot.

If I'm Trump, I tell the Senate "!@#$ you, the FBI's done their investigation.  File a criminal complaint with Maryland, or shut the !@#$ up and vote."  If I'm Kavanaugh, I release a statement saying "This process has been perverted all principles of American government and jurisprudence, and I can no longer in good faith take part in it" and walk away without saying another goddamn word.  This is !@#$ing ridiculous.  We're making the !@#$ing Italians under Berlusconi look sane and coherent.

They are just buying time so that they can dirty up the man more and release more rape and sexual assault accusations. They are going to paint him as a raging alcoholic as well. Book it.

If they permit it to happen, the GOP is stupid because Avenetti will just keep paying chicks to lie and throw everything into a giant leftwing schittstorm.

Point of note: that's still all any of this is.  Delay.  Democrats lost the filibuster, thanks to themselves, so they're pulling out all the stops to keep this from the floor.

What's really amusing is you now have people complaining about the electoral college also complaining about the "tyranny of the majority" who also applauded when Obama told Republicans "elections have consequences."  There's no rhyme or reason to these people's attitudes except "I want things my way, now!!!"

That's what happens when you are short-sighted. You fail to realize the consequences of your actions and that they can come back to bite you in the ass.

I was thinking the left wanted this week long delay so they could keep pressuring Kavanaugh into taking a polygraph? Just a thought..

I'm from MD.  The three second rule here is "If it's on the floor for three seconds, it's a $500 fine for polluting the Chesapeake Bay watershed."

They want a week long delay so they have another week to come up with more delays.  I don't think a poly delays things enough.

An FBI investigation sure does...because first you have to argue about jurisdiction, then have the investigation, then challenge the investigation in court on jurisdictional grounds, which starts with figuring out which court should have jurisdiction over the challenge...

I can think of plenty of legal and sane ways to string this out for a couple of years.  I'm sure the Democrats will find a way that's illegal and stupid ("Kavanaugh got a speeding ticket in 1989.  We know he's a raging alcoholic.  Was he drunk when he got the ticket?  We need an investigation!")

His lawyer should give him a two-question polygraph and send it to the committee.

I didn't get to watch the whole sh7tshow yesterday, but in the highlights, something that jumped out at me was the Dr Ford couldn't even remember the day she had the polygraph the month before. Was it the day they buried her grandmother or the day after? Sorry, but with "normal" people, funerals tend to stick with us for more than a few days. But then, maybe she had been drinking again?

Psychologist-Actress Christine Ford seemingly couldn't remember a lot of things yesterday.  She acted stupid and a lot of people fell for it.

I'll be amazed if this is wrapped up in a week. Its nothing more than an effort to drag it out until the mid terms.

Or when Ford suddenly becomes afraid to fly, or sick, or any other reason to delay her FBI interview "for another few days..."

Meanwhile what's the betting line on how many new accusers come forward? I think the line is probably around 3....

not to say that that wouldn't happen but i remember hearing the discussion at the committee limiting it to the current 3 accusations.

They may limit any FBI 'investigation' to the current 3 accusations, but that doesn't limit the Democrats putting forth more fake smear accusations in the media to justify more parliamentary obstruction and delay.

Or simply more people coming forward. They will find that house, that's for sure

Isn't this better, though? The likelihood of the FBI finding something after 36 years is still pretty small. You guys will be very happy if they find nothing and Brett can go to the court.
