I think this is one of those situations where all the lefties who are going to get fired up and motivated are the hardcore types that were already going to vote and vote Democrat.

I'm seeing a lot of moderate liberals who see this for the shameless exploitation of a sensitive issue it is and are put off by it.

I see it as a political stunt and I'm MORE emboldened to vote.

It's about time the left start fighting fire with fire. They're not nearly as skilled as the majority, but they're rookies. They'll need a little seasoning and a better offensive line.

Yet, ones ability to recognize their own behavior is so lomitted that it wouldn't matter if she was the world's leading psychologist in the FBI police.

I saw an extremely unstable, troubled woman who was heavily medicated. No wonder the dems made her medical records off limits.

Dafuq?  I don't even know who he is... And it wasn't him, anyway.

And this guy was engaged, but not a rapist. Though, she had to sign waivers to be around certain NBA players.  She called them "rapey waivers."

It was a joke.

Don't be so sure about all of that.  Psychologist-Actor Christine Ford is no innocent pawn, IMHO.  I initially fell for her act.  I just thought she was not mentally competent.  I've rethought that.  A PhD in psychology and she acted like an innocent simpleton yesterday?  No way!

You might be right.

You can't have it both ways.  Either they were both lying, or they both weren't.

Not actually true, but in this case, one of them is probably lying, and the lack of evidence would support that Kavanaugh shouldn't go down over the mere accusation. Though we would benefit from more testimony.

Source me making those exact claims.

This again? No thanks. And either way, why not just answer why I'm here, since you and DR appear to have a theory and you just said that I'm here for some reason other than just that I'm !@#$ed in life that I got born a Bills fan.

After watching the leaders of the Democratic party attempt to intentionally destroy the lives of a good man and his family, actively work to undo the concept of innocent until proven guilty in our justice system, assert that men by their nature are evil rapists, and all of the rest, you're more motivated to vote for them?

Says all anyone needs to know about you.

He did say if he had to vote today, so he can still change his mind it would seem. He even says I think I'd be a no, sounds like he can be persuaded

If you think Kavanuagh was being forthright in his testimony, that says all anyone needs to know about your ability to judge character.

The deception and half truths may or may not have been material, but this dude lies about damn near everything. Leahy caught him in 06 and again in the first go round, but nobody paid attention because it wasn't material.

He is not a "good" man and probably did clumsily accost that woman. I'm of the opinion that it wasn't a disqualifying offense, but that's another story.

The right has the courts, the White House, the Senate, and the Congress. You guys should be celebrating.

Without a doubt, he's a weasel who left a weasel way out of his words if he needs it. Look at the rest of the tweet though. He's fine with the damage it would do to the system of justice and presumption of innocence (between the lines: so long as Trump doesn't get a win). Kristol, a man who made his bones as a conservative icon who preached loyalty to the constitution above all else is saying, "eh, forget that it'll do long term damage and open the door to NO justice being confirmed, just !@#$ Trump."

He and MANY of the "never Trumpers" (especially the former neocon set) were never true conservatives or republicans or even RHINOS. They were con artists who (knowingly or unknowingly) played a central role for the cabal/uniparty. They were inserted into positions of influence, or co-opted once they reached some level of success, and dropped into the media complex as "conservative spokesmen" to stoke the fires of division when necessary - but above all else, to bring their followers back to the agenda of the cabal/uniparty when needed. (see Kristol on mass surveillance, and WMD/Iraq in years prior to Trump for evidence of this).

Mhmmm...

Enjoy the scorched Earth you've normalized.

Process is far more important than individual outcome, and you're supporting people whom have destroyed the process.

You're kidding, right?

The left has been operating on pure rhetoric since 2004.  They wrote the book on this ****.  Trump just took the book and rewrote it.

Yeah that is crazy-town. Kavanaugh is GOPe. After watching this spectacle against one of the uni-party, it appears some of the RINO- uniparty members got red pilled *cough*Graham*cough* I'm not sure there is any going back after this.

Either Kristol is being a disingenuous lying sack of Schiff, once again, or he's too stupid to understand that the Democrats are going to use this same unverifiable smearing tactic on every alternate nominee Trump names.

Could you be more specific? Who caught him doing what in 06?

What other lies has he told that I've missed.

Honest question. Just curious because I have no idea what you're talking about. And please don't tell me to google it. Just use your own words.

Not a surprise:

Everyone's voting exactly as expected before the hearings happened.

Booker just doubled down on his lie, saying he violated the rules knowingly and willingly ... when he didn't. He sounds like he's resigning from the judiciary committee, which would be a bold move.

  Coons is such a bad actor.

BINGO!

I was in my car listening at that point and thinking, "What??" And it was the GOPs own attorney who pointed that out about the date, after that they pulled her.

This ticks me off about the Ds.  Here was a great opening where they could have caught him in an inaccuracy based on his own evidence!   Dr. Ford said it was around the 4th of July.  then on his own calendar it shows a party on a week night (it had to be a weekend) around the 4th of July with beer and PJ and Judge.  Like you say the prosecutor even asked him about that date.  Shortly after she was removed.  I find that interesting.

After that Durbin has his Rick Lazio moment and others questioned him and don't bring it up.  Even the great former prosecutor was too busy asking him to ask for an investigation.  they did Dr. Ford a disservice at this point.  They should have been listening and asking questions about his testimony instead of grand standing and every single one of them asking him "if you don't have anything to hide,  whey not volunteer for an FBI investigation" even though he said he would do whatever they wanted.

I wish one of those time he would have just said NO.  I'm the accused, not the accuser. Quote some legal thing about the presumption of innocence being a corner stone of our legal system or something.

He looked like a fool.

It was a travesty on both sides.

So..............I'm back from my 30th Anniversary Vacation...............................anything happen while I was gone ?

Just kidding (of course) I was "allowed " to check the board twice a day, (likes, but NO posting).....

The dems have certainly screwed themselves good.

BILL WHITTLE NOW: Lawless America — The Kavanaugh-Ford Hearing.

DON SURBER: Lindsey Graham Saved The World.

“Loose talk about a second civil war in the United States should have ended on Thursday when Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina cleared his throat and unloaded on the Marxist Democrat party. . . . At that moment, he reassured the world that everything is going to be all right. Republicans are standing up, and standing tall. They will defend themselves from Creepy Porn Lawyer attacks by the other side. I am not alone in noticing this.”

J. CHRISTIAN ADAMS: Kavanaugh Won Because He Fought Back.

Kavanaugh won because he fought back. Kavanaugh won because he was unwilling to suffer from the ritual defamation of the Left. He broke free from the traditional advice administration handlers give nominees – to be deferential and measured to the Senators – and went after the Democrats and his opponents for what they were.

Ritual defamation has become the favorite tool of the institutional Left to advance policy. If anyone stands up to the Left’s narrative – whether it be voter fraud, race, life, or the purely ideological role of the mainstream media – they are targeted for ritual defamation by Leftist organizations.

Truth doesn’t matter when power is at risk.

In fact, it seems that nothing does.

Plus: “Instead of seeking the acceptance of his foes, he delegitimized them. That is a sea change of extraordinary import not just for Brett Kavanaugh, but the entire conservative-constitutionalist coalition.”

That she went over the evidence and found it where NONE of the Dems did is embarrassing. Great catch by her. And you are right that Dems did not follow up on it, but Lindsey saw it right away, it seems, and that led to his outburst to gum up the works.

My guess is that reporters are all over this now looking for the house, asking where these kids lived, probably knocking on doors and such.

No wonder the ABA said slow down.

It was the ABA, he was their spokesperson.

Also, Dershowitz said same thing

Also calling for an FBI probe was Harvard Law School scholar Alan Dershowitz, often lauded by President Trump for his criticisms of the probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election. “Maybe we can get closer to the truth, although that is not certain,” Dershowitz wrote in a Fox News opinion piece. “But right now there are too many unanswered question to bring the confirmation of Kavanaugh” to “a vote of the Judiciary Committee as scheduled on Friday, much less to a vote of the full Senate.” It is “possible that one of them is deliberately lying. Right now, there is no way of knowing for certain, which is why the FBI needs to talk to the judge’s accusers and others.”
