He's clearly being very picky because Washington seems like a decent spot with the #2 pick and new ownership. Buffalo would probably be a dream job for him. As far as re-builds are concerned I'm not sure you can be better set up for a HC gig then they are currently in Washington. #2 overall pick in a QB rich Draft... New management that is pretty fired up... The most cap space in the NFL going into 2024...They pick 2nd, 36th, 40th, 67th, 100th, 102nd, 137th, 180th, 219th... They already have McLaurin and Dotson... They have a decent running game. I mean.... They need work, but they are also set up pretty well. He is as secure as any coach in the NFL. Guys like Johnson have the luxury of waiting for the perfect opportunity. No need to jump at the first jobs that come available, especially if one of them involves being employed by the Washington Commanders.
