To be fair, he was really hard on himself about that decision during the post-game interview, knew he screwed up and owned it, so hopefully he won't make the same mistake twice.  Then again, when it comes to making the same mistakes over and over, all I can think of is the Buffalo Bills defending Hail Marys.  So... hopefully we aren't in a situation where we have to find out if he learned from that mistake or not.  That's where I'm at.

Don’t know if this has been pointed out by other posters yet, but lots of money has been coming in on the Bills for this weekend and even the Super Bowl.  When the books want the Bills to lose, makes me nervous.

”The Buffalo Bills were consensus 2-point favorites over the visiting Cowboys in the weekend's marquee game. FanDuel reported Thursday that the Cowboys-Bills game was setting up to the one most popular with bettors of the season. "We are in another unusual position where a Cowboys cover would actually be a big win for the book, as an ever-growing liability continues to come in on the Bills," a FanDuel representative said in a company release. Sportsbook PointsBet also has reported a surge of betting interest on the Bills to win the Super Bowl. Since Nov. 27, the Bills had attracted more bets and more money in PointsBet's odds to win the Super Bowl than any other team.”

The Cam Lewis that got burned nonstop last year when he had to start, and gave the NFL the highlight of the year on the Jefferson catch? That Cam Lewis?

I remember him that he's the reason we lost to the Vikings last year.

Don’t forget, he’s also the guy who a week or two later had a ridiculously stupid roughing the kicker penalty that almost cost the Bills another game…but yeah, can’t wait to see him out on the field 🤮🤮🤮

Bills are a strong team with low odds because of their record. It’s a great bet for a sharp.

So the Bills win by 1.  Bills happy, Bills fans happy, bookies happy.

Why are IR players listed with a game status?

New league requirement this season.

They aren’t on IR anymore. The team activated their 21 day window.

No, that's not quite correct.  They ARE still on IR - the team is not giving them a 53-man roster slot.  They've just been designated as eligible to return, so they get 3 weeks to practice with the team and try to work themselves into game shape

As much hate as he casts towards Buffalo, he’s always cast plenty of love and respect for Allen, sharing sentiments about his game and career that many fans would connect with.

No idea what the significance of the NCIS DVDs is

Frankly their Tiktok stuff makes me feel old but I'm not the target audience

If it makes no difference to the 'Boys if they play inside or outside --- why is their record 3-3 away ave 23.6 pts scored, and 7-0 46.5 pts scored at home?

Wait… crap…

You just let the ball bounce in this case.  Do not pull a McKenzie and try and catch a ball that is swirling.

Because they are in their practice window so technically can play.

Can you give us the lo-down on the weather?

Looking at the ECWMF which has maintained a consistent solution over last 48 hours:

Strong southerly flow starting Southeasterly and shifting to Southerly flow during the game 12-15mph gusting up 25-30mph.  Light rain showers transitioning to occasional moderate showers around halftime. But winds look to taper off around this time as well.  Temps will be unseasonably warm and in the mid to upper 40’s.

With the stadium orientation being a true northwest-southeast orientation, we’re not going to see a true head or tail wind.  A South-South East wind will create a modified head/tail and cross wind as it intersects the field at a 45 degree angle.  This will transition to a cross wind later in the game as winds switch to the south. This will have a marginal impact on the flight trajectory on longer passes and FGs because adjustments will be needed to compensate for the change in direction.

My opinion, the winds speeds wont be a huge factor but the direction will be.  I think this weather favors the Bills who rely on mostly short to medium completions and it limits the Cowboys best weapons, their deep threat and FG kicker.  Josh also has the stronger arm, and don’t trust Bass on longer kicks, so not seeing as big of an impact for the Bills.  I expect to see a lot of Cook (run and pass),QB runs and short passes to Kincaid and Knox.

Living up to the username!

FWIW I agree with your general premises on game impact. I was listening to Cover 1, and the Cowboys guest writer was talking about how what has been unlocked since their bye it more deep passes after starting on a WCO to start. Deep passes against a strong secondary with a meh run game tells me the Bills have a chance to limit them.

Against the Cowboys, their strength appears to be the D-line and an decent secondary, so the game plan vs the Chiefs and Jets seems like the natural starting point. Lots of Cook and Kincaid plz.

Can we get a random famous buffalo snowstorm or something?

Every time we play in snow you’d think we’d have the advantage but the other team looks like it always has better traction.

That's the kind of thing I pulled for during the drought - because we usually played teams who were more talented, and we needed an equalizer.

We're as good as this Cowboys team, and should beat them at home.  I'd prefer weather not be much of a factor.

Very true. Not sure how we can expect to win a super bowl if we need weather to be a factor as that game will never have bad weather.

Lot of the talking heads propping up the Bills as favorites and the weather for this game has me nervous. Don’t see weather being much of an advantage. Offense needs to pick it up and defense has to come up with some turnovers. Winnable game but Cowboys have been playing better than the Bills recently. Hopefully the Cowboys continue to struggle on the road.

Buffalo can beat anyone.  It's consistancy that is a problem.  If we bring our 'A' game we can win, or even rout them, even if Dallas brings theirs.  That's the question though.  Will we get an 'A' game out of Buffalo?

If Dallas brings their "A" game they will beat the Bills. Sure seems like you are selling the Cowboys short and over evaluating the Bills.

Both teams can lose to any team especially bad ones. More so the 7-6 Bills than the 10-3 Bills. Wouldn't you agree?

I agree. The more wind the better for Buffalo. Dallas relies on longer big explosive plays. I believe they are the best in the NFL with 20 plus yard completions.

I can't remember when the Bills hit a deep pass.
