It just annoys me that some people just don't realize how old Millennials are. The mid to late Gen x'ers aren't much older and didn't experience much more than the early to mid Millennials. The oldest Millennials were born in 1981 and are in their 40's now. The younger Gen X'ers are still in their early to mid 40's. It annoys me that they think they are that much different lol

Yes but Generation X goes back to the 1960’s. I am Generation X born in 1967. So there is a huge difference time wise. I had no cable until 1980 because the cable systems weren’t all built out in the Buffalo suburbs yet. I grew up in the Buffalo suburb of Clarence which was a rural dairy farm town when I was real

small going to the local dairy store for ice cream. Anyway in Clarence Buffalo International Cable stoped at Transit Road. My parents our color television was heavy wood furniture looking through a fish bowl 25 inches screen we got local Buffalo WGR TV2, WBEN TV4, WKBW TV7, WNED PBS TV17, WUTV TV29 then the Canadian Toronto channels CBC TV5, CTV TV9, Hamilton CHCH TV 11 that was about it along with CBC TV25 French language which carried Montreal Canadians games if you used aluminum foil on the antennas and pointed it towards the window so we could see the Buffalo Sabres Montreal Canadians game not picked up locally in Buffalo on television. I watched the 1980 Buffalo Sabres home games against the New York Islanders in playoffs on CBC French TV25 because we didn’t get cable until July or August of that summer and there was only local free television for all the away Buffalo Sabres playoff games except if it was a series decider than local Buffalo television would pick it up like 1979 Game 3 at home against the Pittsburgh Penguins George Ferguson overtime winner in the Buffalo Memorial Auditorium Saturday afternoon. Game 2 away was shown but Game 1 at home was radio only. I watched it a couple of years ago Game 1 off a Penguins game televised in Pittsburgh that a Penguins fan put on YouTube.

What? Exactly we have differences between the generations on many things the Buffalo we grew up in is very different which is fine but there are a lot of differences. I saw Buffalo before the decline Millennials didn’t so they don’t have that reference point to compare unfortunately because if they did maybe just maybe they wouldn’t be so happy with no dome on new Bills stadium and our Western New York and New York State elites selling Buffalo out which is very sad oh well what is done is done. But don’t say BSF didn’t try to point that out. I am proud my generation Generation X we along with the baby boomers were able to bring back Buffalo Bisons to Buffalo and bringing back UB Bulls as a major college football program again those are two of the things as a Buffalo sports fan I am most proud of. Regrets I have a few I wish we able to save Buffalo Memorial Auditorium like Seattle Kraken did with Settle Center instead of Buffalo Sabres Key Bank Center that is just not a good viewing facility for college basketball at all and it’s not a great anything viewing wise from the cheap seats. Again I blame my generation for that we own that Baby Boomers and Generation X. We don’t own the new Bills stadium we were wiser on that Millennials will get the blame for that 50 year generational mistake. Buffalo would be better doming the current Highmark stadium fixing the upper deck with a dome that would serve all fans needs better so yes we are making the Buffalo Memorial Auditorium mistake again but at least this time my generation is wise to it. I don’t think viewing will be better than Highmark it will be worse because Highmark Stadium was grandfathered for fire codes. News flash surprise the Bills new Bills stadium viewing experience won’t be as good as current Highmark Stadium. I take no blame on new Buffalo Bills stadium that is on the millennials and there expensive technology while we older Bills fans freeze in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

Literally everyone.  I'm a Chiefs fan, and I'm still pissed off about losing to the Bills the past two seasons.  That's what sports are all about.

I don’t know. It’s  different now. In my 30+ years of fan hood of this team I’ve never had these “yeah, but” emotions with the team before. It’s different now for sure after last season.

I loved beating the Chiefs in the regular season these last two years but there is no way a win next season will have the same juice behind it.

Two straight years beating the Chiefs in the regular season and two straight years holding the one seed at Halloween only to end the season behind the Chiefs in the final regular season standings.

I still think the Bills are a great matchup against the Chiefs too. It’s why they have won 2 out of the last 3. But the Bills seem to screw it up in other areas over the 17 game season.

Players have all the power.  If they want out, they get traded.  It's pretty that simple in today's NFL.  They don't care what happens with the team.

Look at Rodgers, cried about wanting a new deal, gets his deal, now wants out.  Going to cost the Packers millions in dead money.  Nothing they can do about it.

Hill wanted out, traded.

AJ Brown wanted out, traded.

Wilson wanted out, traded.

Adams wanted out, traded.

Hopkins wanted out, traded.

Watson wanted out, traded.

Stafford wanted out, traded.

Maybe you didn’t read the $37 mil. Dead cap hit.

Moving on.  Be practical brother.  They don’t care.  I can cite 10 other deals where the player had nothing to say about it.

Not suggesting that this where things are, but can't a contract be restructured in a way to facilitate a trade (and then the acquiring team makes an adjustment after the trade)?

Not when it would involve the player giving back bonus they’ve already been paid and converting it to salary to reduce dead cap, which is what would have to happen.

Purged his twitter feed (does this most years).

Still follows Bills, Allen etc on Insta & Twitter

Incorrect. The kerfuffle was over him unfollowing the Buffalo Bills on Instagram, removing his Bills pictures from there, and following the Dallas Cowboys. The article itself you linked does not say he still follows them on Insta.

That said - this is all much ado about nothing.

Can you relax with the histrionics? Stef Diggs hasn’t said anywhere he wants out of buffalo to Dallas or anywhere else for that matter.

can not understand how some of you just look for things to develop ulcers over..

I never said he wanted out or anything even remotely like it.  The whole notion is preposterous with his cap hit and the fact that the Cowboys aren't in a better position to win.  Take your own advice and read more carefully.

Diggs is a weird dude. I can support that. Good for him.

But when it starts to make him a wonky teammate or cause a ruckus among the fans is where I have started drawing the line. You can't repeatedly undress your QB, HC, and/or OC on the sidelines. You can't bail on your team after a tough loss because you are such a "competitor", and you can't feed into the rumor mill about the security of the franchise that you play for.

Part of my frustration and credence to some of the smoke is that these rumors aren't secret. A lot of people are talking about not just on Bills forums. Diggs has the opportunity to put all of this to bed and refuses. Wildly frustrating.

Weird that the guy who acted like a diva in Minnesota is doing the same thing here. I love Diggs and it’s stupid to overreact but let’s call it like it is, he’s annoying and kinda of a baby. He acts like he is the only one who cares about winning and just needs constant attention. I really want us to invest in the receiver position big time this off-season and move him next offseason.

I played receiver through college so I can said it. Wrs kinda suck.

Did you play at UB? If you did you might have punched me in the face.

My freshman year we came home from the bars at like 5am and outside of the dorms were a couple of guys asking if we wanted to play football. We were a pretty big athletic bunch, so were like “sure”. Then one little guy starts mouthing off that they played for UB and would kick our ass. I laugh because UB was like 1-11 the year before. They silently follow us to our down. Go get a bunch of other guys from the team, break in, and it turns into a total brawl.

What a drunk mess. 18 year old drunk me didn’t realize that anybody asking to play football at 5am wasn’t actually asking to play football, and that maybe I should keep my smart ass shut.

If it was you, I forgive you. But I am a little salty that you got away without even a slap on the wrist and we got community service.

What does he mean when he brings up 'business'  We don't know. Often times when players hold out, when players put pressure on a team to get a different contract, when players leave the team they were with for another team, their respons is something like "its just business' or "its a business decision."

Again, is that what Diggs is doing here or what is the reason behind his tweets? We don't know yet.  But there is another side to that story. From a fan's point of view and from a teams point of view, 'just business' is not overplaying a player in a salary cap league.  It's moving on from a player/contract when, or slightly before, the ratio of what you are getting is less than what you are paying out.  As a fan only, liking a 'team' or a 'jersey' or the 'name of the front of the jersey vs the name on the back of a jersey' can also be a 'business decision' that we invest, not in dollars but in our time and in choosing how we interact with the team versus how we interact with the player (cheering for them on the field or discussing them off the field).

If a fan wants to support Diggs and wants him on the Bills long term and buys his jersey, fine, that is part of being a fan. But the other side of it can be said that he knows putting stuff out there like that will get a reaction from the fanbase, and for those who say 'who cares' or "16 pages of this" and think people shouldnn't be talking about it...well, talking about stuff like this is what message boards are for.

He removed the pictures about the Bills last year, not this year.  He made his IG more personal and about his fashion posts last year when he was working on a new contract extension.  He only puts Bills stuff in season in his stories which expire in 24 hours on IG.

He comes off as very immature.  Like a little brother who never grows up.  It can be cute and endearing when times are good, but lends itself to petulance when things get tough.  I don't believe he's going anywhere, but I worry that he could quickly turn on Josh if the team (or Josh) struggle next season for an extended period of time.

Don't forget he is a captain that doesn't show up to OTA.   The guy private jets to fashion shows across the globe, but can't get in a plane a couple days in April and May to be a good teammate.

Not to mention all the times this year he just flat out quit during the game.  The guy would catch one ball, or run one route, and just go off the field.  The team couldn't use him to block anymore, which severely limited on what the team could do.  That's why Gabe played so much.

Tell me you know nothing about older brother and patriarch Stefon Diggs without telling me you know nothing about Stefon Diggs.

Dude passed up scholarships to schools like Ohio State so he could stay home in Maryland and help his family after his dad died. Playing at Maryland instead of OSU is a major factor on why he slipped to 5th round instead of likely a 1st round pick as an OSU WR, sacrificing millions of dollars up front. But he stayed and made sure his mom was ok, and his little brother stayed straight so he too could go on to college and a pro career.

He has been described repeatedly as the "older brother" of the team. Josh is the leader and face of the franchise, and Diggs is the older brother who comes around and slaps you in the head when you arent pulling your weight.

Bills fans absolutely suck right now.

The sideline yelling at Allen during the Cincy game was the 1st time I related to all of the "warnings" from Vikings fans.

I love Diggs, and he changed the culture here as much as anyone.  But he needs to be more professional in those situations.  Allen wasn't having any of it.  And he should be going to the coaches or GM - the plays that he was open, Allen already had a guy in his face and in no way could have found him or passed accurately to him.

We need to build the O-line.  I actually hope Diggs is the last "big" investment we make in a skill player, in terms of FA or dollars (I'll always be fine using the draft for those positions).

He was starting to blow up in the lions game and McDermott had to talk to them. I’m sure there have been other times as well. Obviously, I want him on the team but let’s not pretend like it might get annoying. Wrs are the most annoying position on the team. When do o linemen ever have temper tantrums?
