If I survive the tailgate to make it in, yes. We've been half expecting this and already tentatively planning the tailgate.

Trying to get my hooks in to see if I can get like 50 tickets from the Bills, lol.

That we got to hit Kirby up lol

Not yet. Nothing official yet from the NFL, but it looks like the Bills and Chiefs will get an allotment of tickets, and their STH who have prepaid for playoff tickets will get first priority. Then we go from there.

I’ll sell you some!  😋

What are the odds this game even happens? We need for it to come to be before tickets are available, I’m sure. I’m all in on one week at a time, but this is a little distracting.

You could have bought them last week (maybe even as late as yesterday).

And BTW I believe those on the  "Pay As We Play" plan have same seeding as those who pre-paid.

I'm sure they will correct this error next year. 😁

Winter sucks here with too many gray days in the 40’s and rain, but at least it’s relatively brief. I don’t mind the heat of summer, in fact I like that part. It’s just too big for my taste, but we (the wife and son) are here to make money. Atlanta has career type jobs that were not available in our previous home towns (Hilton Head Island and Sarasota, FL). In fact, few cities rival Atlanta for work opportunities. Oh well…..a few more years for my wife.

We have relatives in Chat, just 2 hours away. A terrific, small city, with tons of cool things to see and do! Not a fan of Atlanta and the through traffic is Gawd awful!

I just looked and Delta alone has 3 daily direct flights to Buffalo in the morning, late afternoon and evening. That’s not horrible options. No telling what other airlines may have.

As someone who flies this route a few times a year, delta used to have 5 flights a day so they’ve dialed back. I don’t think any else has a direct flight since SW bought Airtran

alright, got my flight booked from SLC (only $150), refundable hotel and car. Now I just need a ticket 😁 hopefully a STH that won't be going can hook me up with the presale code when we get to that point!!

Hopefully they can come up with a better way than a shareable presale code.  It is how all the tix end up in the hands of brokers.

Also, check your T&Cs but a lot of airlines will allow you to cancel your ticket for a credit on their airline. (Since COVID) catch is that needs to be used within a year. I believe this applies to any Delta main cabin fare and above. Their basic fares still have a fee for cancellation.

like I said, check the T&Cs. I could be wrong

Really?  There's at least 3 daily Delta flights per day to Atlanta....and they use the largest capacity jets that fly into BUF.

And yeah, hopefully it's a home game vs San Diego...er LA.

there's a couple hundred people right there...

This is bull####. KC and Buffalo are both outdoor weather teams. Shoulda been in Pitt or some other outdoor stadium in weather. Maybe Green Bay. NFL is a ***** league.

So whenever the Bills are in a SB which is played in a dome, I should also have some fake outrage?

I’m close enough to drive that—- what will tix cost I wonder!?

I need to stop counting my chickens, Cincy does scare me.

I’m hoping for Baltimore to bring their A++ defense this week and catch some breaks, like a kick off return, pick 6, a couple of big runs for TDs etc.  I DO NOT want to see Cinci, they are too explosive.  Hyde gives me hope, but that’s just a dream at the moment.  All in all, just hoping karma comes back and bites them for trying to injure Allen to win.  I don’t want anybody hurt, just lose lol.

Kinda sucks being that far away for both teams. This basically punishes the low income fan who can’t afford air fare and hotel rooms. Hometown fans won’t be a big factor. It’s gonna be the transplants that have to make it dominant for us

Low income fans can no longer afford games unless they get a free seat for shoveling.

Wow timed that well yesterday booked hotel in both Charlotte and Atlanta just in case.  I booked Sat and Sun night for at the Westin Peachtree , two night total $375, now it's $411 per night and Marriott Marquis was $195 yesterday, now $800.  Both fancier rooms than I booked, but don't need anything fancy and can get upgraded anyway.

Will have to see about tickets

Are these game times actually true or just wishful thinking on Barry's part? I was hoping for a 1pm kickoff so I wouldn't need a hotel room. Just fly in and out.

The neutral site will only happen if the Chiefs, Bills, or Bengals play each other.

The games time for the two conference championship games are always 3:00 and 6:30 , hasn't been 1:00 in years.  Each year the two conferences alternate the times and the TV networks each want the 6:30 game.  Last year AFC was at 3:00 so this year AFC turn to be the late one, 6:30 on CBS

Eh, I have my own remodel going on. We will catch up but working on your house is a hard pass 😂😂. I am staying at Club Wyndham Atlanta.

Last time we played in Atl I went to the game with @boyst and we talked trash to Chris Tucker all game 😂😂

So to get this right, if I wanted to preemptively buy tickets for the neutral site I would buy tickets to the @ Kansas City scenario?

That's what I think, just figured I would ask.

Tickpick has tickets for Mercedes Benz stadium. They are expensive.

If the game doesn't happen you get a refund within 48 hours.

That was a nice day, and frankly an unexpected win if I recall. You got a great location. I hope the Bills come here (because it means we are still in it), but I’d rather we host in OP!

From the stadium announcement fine print

"Buffalo & KC season ticket members who previously committed to purchasing championship game tickets will have first priority" - So I'm guessing if you were automatically enrolled to take all playoff tickets you should be in.

I hope that is true however it's more likely a limited amount of tickets will be available for that set.

If they follow the SB model "35% of the tickets to the Super Bowl game are given to the teams playing in the championship game—17.5% to each team. These tickets are typically divided among the sponsors and players first, then a certain number will be offered to some of the season ticket holders via a lottery."

http://www.espn.com/espn/page2/story?page=rovell/060131

In the 90's it was a weighted lottery based upon senority and I believe your chance was based on the account rather than the actual number of STs you have in that account.
