Bruffalo Posted September 9, 2022 Share Posted September 9, 2022 Biggest shocker of the game for me: Jordan Phillips' performance. I don't know what it is about this system but the man excels in it. The Bills looked like a dominate force. I was surprised at how polished they looked (minus the roleplayers flukey interceptions and the fumbles). It is amazing that Buffalo dominated the defending superbowl champs on the road despite the early mistakes. Next to Von Miller, Phillips was the best offseason acquisition with Safford a close third. On passing situations, Von and Jordan must be on the field together. Feel like he looked too good to keep off the field. But we are so loaded at the receiver position and still really do need Kumerow on special teams. I’m wondering if we move forward giving Crowder some vet rest weeks off and switching Crowder and Shakir on and off the inactive list. That was a 'WTF?!' moment. When the coaches review the game film you know Mr Crowder will be called out for exactly what you are describing. He needing to come back for the ball will be as obvious to them as it was to you all. I trust the coaching staff.
