That's probably true, but it's because teams that go 0-5 in one score games have a minimum of five losses. Add in a couple of double-digit losses (which most teams encounter once or twice in a season, even SB teams) and you're not even in the tournament. But that's academic, because "record in one-score games" is pretty much a completely random variable. It tells you nothing about a team's post-season prospects.
