Bill from NYC
Absolutely yes. There is not a doubt in my mind. My money says that they are also watched by NFL Security. There is just too much money involved HBF. 11

Southern_Bills
Someone might watch me, and I'm paid way less than the players lol. 5 years of players (Diggs) pay and I'm moving to Mexico as an explat. Guaranteed.
Frat-Train
I knew none of this about Diggs... Yikes. I guess if there’s a positive, it’s that Rusty Hardin’s services aren’t needed, unless maybe a bird is struck on the way down or something... So there’s that. I think someone probably monitors to make sure while he’s doing these things he’s not making effeminate Tom Brady noises or gestures like at Carnival, or while jumping off a waterfall, or when sliding down a big scary water slide. I mean, if you’re gonna put the goods at risk you damn well better man up and make the franchise proud. 2

I have not heard of Diggs bungEE jumping but did hear he skydived in "Football's New Wave: The Young Superstars Taking Over the Game". I think bungee-jumping has been more an expression with him but I may be wrong. 12 minutes ago, NewEra said: Someone 💯 monitors them on social media. I have been at jobs when employees have received letters om social media posts which company thought poorly reflected on company.

I'd put driving up the Hutch in NYC during rush hour, or jaywalking across Hollywood Blvd in LA as far riskier. 2

I’ve done it, once. It’s a VERY cool sensation! I don’t need to do it again, but I’m glad we did it once. Like attending the Masters, do it once and check it off. I sat right next to the open door at 14,000 feet. What struck me most, strangely, is how much colder it was at 14k feet! I’m not sure why that stood out so much, it should have been obvious. I thought sitting next to the door unrestrained might be dangerous, but the fact is when you go to jump out, it’s actually difficult and you have to push off pretty hard because the wind wants to push you back in! Sorry, LAMP over, but it really is a cool rush. I’m sure Diggs would be missed more than myself if anything went sideways and I have to wonder what restrictions his contract covers. EDIT: and now @Logic “liked” my post, which I assume is to verify that Diggs would be missed more than myself had it ended badly. I will just edit here to say I fully understand that sentiment. For sure. There was one morning around 4am late last season where an unnamed Bills player filmed his whole ride down the 90 in the middle of blizzard conditions. As a fan, I was terrified at what he was possible still doing up that late a few days before a game. But he was heading into the office early l, showing everyone on his Instagram account how crazy the Buffalo weather is. Driving while hand holding your phone to live stream is a no no... That got taken down a few hours later, and I'm sure someone monitoring the social media made it happen.

machine gun kelly
Dollars to donuts they watch not only all players, but also their employees, conduct detrimental, etc., and heard they keep an eye on this site for various reasons. It’s one of the reasons I really don’t have almost any social media footprint. If I want to communicate, I’ll text, call or email. I can understand the organization monitoring, but then again if you’re not doing something stupid or venting on social media which is dumb, one should have nothing to worry about. Im glad Diggs is having fun, and I don’t really see a tandem jump is a big deal. He could twist an ankle just as easily playing hoops on the court with friends. Wasn’t it Suggs who was out fir the year with an injury playing basketball in the off season.

Don Otreply
Yes, yes they do, and the players know it, both parties are aware of social media ramifications, and behave themselves as it were, SM is not about his guys bringing a bad image to the organization, it’s like what our Sargent Major used to tell us back when I was in the Marine Corp, don’t embarrass me, and I won’t embarrass you, although he used different language...

Just to play devil’s advocate here, with skydiving and bungie jumping, you aren’t really worrying about a broken leg or torn ACL, which you might well get from pickup basketball and dirt bike riding. Mistakes in the former two categories tend to produce more starkly existential outcomes, and you kinda have to throw your hands up at that. It’s not like you’ll be missing the guy for a season or haggling about contract payments for a player injured in an unapproved offseason activity. Basically, the potential outcomes lie almost solely on the extremes: healthy and alive or dead. Edited April 12, 2021 by dave mcbride
