BuffBills51
As the title says who is your favorite all times Bills player? For me growing up it was Kelly. My parents got me one of the full uniform sets when I was 3 and I have been hooked ever since then. Going on 35 years as a fan. A close second is Kyle. He is the definition of a blue collar player and what the city represents. He wanted to play here and always played with passion. 1
Logic
Historically? Kyle Williams. I was too young during the Kelly years to say that any of them was my favorite. My first year having season tickets was the year Kyle was drafted. I got to see his whole career. He defined the toughness, grit, selflessness, and hard-working attitude that also defines Buffalo. All those years stuck on crappy teams, but he never made a peep. Just did his job, day after day, year after year, and produced. The way his career ended, with the touchdown run send-off and the playoff berth, was awesome. I'll remember it always. Now? Tre'Davious White. He's not only an excellent player who constantly comes up big in the clutch, he's also hilariously funny, has a magnetic personality, and is class all the way. I really, really hope he signs an extension here. He's ***** awesome as a player and as a human being.
Shaw66
I've seen 'em all (although in the late 70s and early 80s I wasn't as in touch with the team was I was early and since), and for me, it's Fred and Kyle. Then Talley. My favorites had an incredible fire burning inside them, a fire to win and win as a team.
C.Biscuit97
Andre Reed. I played receiver and he was so smooth and he was a beast after the catch. He was my hero as kid. Then as I got older, he loved sliding into girls I know DMs. Shooters shoot.
Nester
Bruce Smith. 12 year old me in Western Canada was a Bruce Smith fan that turned into a Bills fan. That Superbowl 25 Sack/Saftey is stuck in my memory forever.

BillsFanThru-N-Thru
Showing my age and I know I'll be in the vast minority while taking a ton of flack for, but for me it was OJ Simpson. Every time OJ touched the ball there was an anticipation that something dynamic was going to happen. A very close second was Bruce because he did things to offensive lineman that on a level was superior. Note: Football aside there was no place for OJ Edited April 30, 2020 by BillsFanThru-N-Thru
ngbills
Cant go wrong with Kelly, Bruce or Thurman. Kelly for his perseverance and toughness. Bruce was just a beast and dominated people. Thurman so fun to watch. Other favorites over the years. Marshawn because I grew up in Oakland and was coaching at Cal when he was there. Such a good guy and misunderstood by Bills fans. Flutie - Just for that one year. Takeo Spikes, but it was more about being excited when we signed him. Sure I am missing some others but these come top of mind.
BigBillsFan
Fred Jackson 100% No one played harder. In the final pre-season with us when he had that 30+ yard run and stiff armed that guy into oblivion personifies everything I love about him

Boatdrinks
Bruce Smith. The most talented athlete I’ve seen take the field in a Bills uniform , at least in person. I never attended a game that OJ played in, so number 78 it is.

BillsNutHawaii
I’m looking at everyone else’s responses and I don’t see any names from the earlier years (1960s), I guess we have a younger crowd here today; I only started following the team in 1981. As a result, I’d like to recognize the 1964, 1965, 1966 Bills teams as whole and say thank you for their hard work and for establishing a great foundation for the franchise, the city of Buffalo, and Western New York. TroutDog
Bruce, Andre, Jim, Thurman, Fred, Kyle, Talley, Hull. Sure I’m forgetting some. Would never know how to choose as I loved them all.
Chandler#81
Whippersnappers, All ya all! You couldn’t be a fan of the Bills in their 1st decade and not idolize Jackie Kemp. All he did was QB in 5 of the 10 AFL Title Games and bring us Back to Back Championships. Bills Mafia -not fellow players- picked him up and carted him off the field following the ‘64 title, where he was named MVP. But, for this short, slow WR, my all time favorite player is... well, you know. 1

dreadlox
This is an intriguing question as there are so many players that I loved on the team. Thurman and Bruce were by far my favorites as a young teen in the 90s. Mostly because I considered them to be the absolute best at their positions, but those teams were loaded with stars you could make an argument for any number of players on the team back then. During the drought, Fred and Kyle were of course two guys every Bills fan could be proud of even if they weren't recognized like members of the nineties teams. The answer for me though is Jim Kelly. He wasn't necessarily my "favorite" at the time, but man when his cancer diagnosis was first reported I couldn't believe what a profound sadness I felt. I was a guys in my 30s crying at my computer reading all the news about Jim and his family. It was then that I realized the impact this person whom I never met had had on me. All the times I shared with loved ones bonding over this team. All the heartache. All the joy. The passion. Two years later my mother had her own battle with cancer, a battle she ultimately lost. That ***** came fast and hard and she was gone. Her favorite hands down was always #12. Jim's fight became all the more important to me then. Just as on the field, he fought and overcame a lot and that somehow made my loss a little easier to bear. Sorry if this is too serious for the thread.

dbfla10
Steve "Tisker a tasker, special teams master" . One of the most selfless Bills in my life time. Buffalo Boy
Talley. He wasn’t the national star like so many others on those teams. But, he was 100% as important as the stars were. Let's Go Buffalo
Steve Tasker was my favorite player for many reasons. He came to my hometown when I was growing up, and spoke at our school. He has been a friend of my family for years, and has always been a role model for us. I've always admired his work ethic as well. He never gave up on a play, and gave all he had on every down. Steve's a great person off the field as well, and has always been a solid leader in a humble way. His motor as a player was off the charts, and I always tried to play like that when I was in high school. Later on when I became a coach, I tried to pass on his traits on and off the field. Greg S
Old school - Joe Cribbs. He was the "Thurman Thomas" of the early 80's Bills. Super Bowl years - Bruce Smith. One of the best ever. Post Super Bowl years - Kyle Williams. Played on some bad teams but was proud to be a Bill who loves the area.
