ChevyVanMiller
This survey suggests that a majority of fans would not attend a game before Covid-19 vaccines are made available to the public. Considering the fact that that seems highly unlikely before this upcoming NFL season, let’s take a poll of Bills fans. Are you in or out this season without a vaccine? https://www.espn.com/espn/story/_/id/29018209/poll-fans-attend-games-vaccine Edited April 10, 2020 by ChevyVanMiller
AlCowlingsTaxiService
Although I was unable to be tested, my symptoms and my doc indicate that I probably had the ‘Rona already, so I’d like to think I’d be good to go whenever the season starts.
Stank_Nasty
There’s a lot of context lacking here... will quicker tests be mass distributed by then? Will there be safe approved meds to quell or alleviate symptoms? And will these factors help with healthcare facilities finally being caught up by then to the point where it’s much more manageable and not nearly the risk and issue that it is now? im not gonna vote on just a yes or no question. Too much missing. Edited April 10, 2020 by Stank_Nasty

Matt_In_NH
Not sure right now for myself but I think it depends. If we were to knock this thing down, get back to "normal" over the summer and see no significant flare ups I think the answer could be yes for many. But it seems increasingly unlikely that will happen. But it is hard to know right now, even scientists dont have varying predictions.

Bleeding Bills Blue
With sufficient testing I think its possible to manage the hospital workloads and get through it. But we're a long way away from sufficient testing. The test needs to be fast, and determine if you A- have it and B- already had it.
GottaRun
Who knows Will there be a season? Will the border be open, will us long time Canadian season ticket holders have a chance? Will it be one person for every 5 seats? Based on seniority, 20 years or longer? Will it all have blown over and we'll be laughing about it? I'm hoping it's all blown over and we can share a drink and laugh about it.

BisonMan
My assumption is that there will be no vaccine available anytime during the NFL season and probably not until late Spring 2021. I do think there will be some treatments that will provide a significant reduction of symptoms in the most severe cases (like serum therapy). However, these likely won't be available for those with more "mild" symptoms, which for COVID-19 are pretty severe. Being an outdoor stadium helps here as there is a slightly lower change of spread there but, because the Bills will be REALLY GOOD this year, I'd expect the stadium to be more occupied than not. Sellouts will be rare and tickets will be cheap on the aftermarket. I personally would not take the chance on getting it by attending a crowded event unless I know I've already had it. ? So, that's a NO. ?

PetermansRedemption
I voted no, but I don’t attend games anyways. Can’t beat the view and comfort from home. That being said, stadiums are huge. I can’t see why they couldn’t devise some social distancing capacity for these games. Ticket revenue is such a small amount of revenue for the NFL. If a stadium has a capacity of 70,000 maybe sell 20,000 tickets, all seats spaced out strategically. Only have a gate for a certain amount of tickets at a certain amount of time. Spread the entrance times out amongst 2 hours. If you have X section you go to X gate at X time kind of thing. It sounds more complicated than I think it would be. You section off seats. Skipping a row or some seats between people. On the ticket you print what gate they are to enter and at what time. An organization as large as the NFL shouldn’t have a problem figuring out the logistics.

BillsFan4
No. I have high risk family members that I’m in frequent contact with and I am higher risk myself. Captain Hindsight
Right now I would say no. I don't see any reason to put public health at risk for a football game. People haven mentioned that its an outdoor stadium but the concourses, bathrooms and the line to get in will be tightly packed groups of drunk people chanting the shout song. I recently read about a choir group that got together as this was just ramping up and like 45 of the 60 people got sick and 5 died. I wouldn't risk it personally and I'd like to get back to "normal" as soon as possible If we get to August and have this under control, I would go but I'm listening to the CDC before making any decision 32 minutes ago, JMF2006 said: By September this should be just a bad memory....hopefully. I hope you are right, but I think its more likely we look back on 2020 as "The Lost Year" I wouldnt expect us to go back to normal any time soon. The majority of the country is under strict shelter in place rules. If that stays in place, no football game is happening, certainly not with fans

Hapless Bills Fan
Can you add an option for "maybe"? Would some kind of social distancing (every other seat, alternating rows) be in play or would it be seating as usual? Will widespread serology (antibody) testing be available so that we can know whether or not we have had a mild case and are now immune? Is there an effective treatment protocol worked out - treatment with convalescent plasma for seriously ill people, some drug therapy? Would everyone in attendance and all stadium workers be required to mask? Maybe the owners could distribute "Bills fabric" or "Bills logo" masks? If so, maybe If not, No.

To you other guys - please consider to call your covid-19 info line and ask if you can be given an antibody test for covid-19 (this test will tell if you have had the disease). If you test positive, please consider becoming a plasma donor. plenzmd1
I am in if they have the games and fans. I think we will see tons of folks with masks on ( somehow rigged so we can still drink beers) and possibly temp scand before entrance, gates open at 10:00 and Bills get an exemption from the no alcohol sold before noon law. And I just cant see any way they do any kind of "social distancing" at the stadium. How are they going to decide who gets to go the game? Even sections one game, odd the next? Upper bowl one game, lower the next? What if everyone wants the opener?
Albany,n.y.
I don't think I'll be going to any games this year. I used to go to every home game a decade ago, but I've cut down to 1 game in Buffalo & games when the Bills are in NJ (Usually the Jets, but last year I went to both Jets & Giants games. I was hoping to get to see the Bills out west if they were scheduled to play in Las Vegas or San Francisco around Thanksgiving week, but I doubt I'll be making my annual trip to California this year since I'm old & in the endangered group. Until there's a vaccine or it's totally gone, I won't be going to any games or flying anywhere.
