LabattBlue
I’m all for wishing the Brady era with the Pats is done, but if he is playing in 2020, I find it hard to believe it is with anyone but the Pats. But he was worth just two when he didn't cost a bunch of money and when the NFL QB landscape was in much worse shape... Maybe just a three right now? Where would be a fit/who would want him? Not a whole lot of open QB spots this year. He had barely played by then. A team will give a 1st round pick for sure for Jimmy G. No doubt. BuffaloBills1998
So who in their right mind is going to trade for Garoppolo with that bloated contract? Sure there are QB needy teams out there but I can’t see anyone taking in his contract and paying him 30 plus million. He’s not that good he’s a game manager at best

H2o
Another thing to consider is San Francisco signing Brady to a 1 year deal to go all in this year, but then chasing Shanny's boy Cousins next year when he becomes a FA. That could be the real plan behind all of it. They don't think Janeane is the long term solution so they sign Brady for a year, release Janeane, and go after Kirk in 2021. billsfan89
The Titans make a lot of sense on the field. Brady has a relationship with the coach, Dion Lewis and Derrick Henry are a good backfield (Dion Lewis is also a target he is familiar with) they have a solid O-line and a decent set of receivers. The Titans also have a strong defense which helps put less pressure on Brady. If they could add Brady while resigning Henry, getting a decent kicking game, and a couple of pieces to the offense they should be a very good team. Kirby Jackson
Is it weird that I really don’t care where Brady ends up? He looks like he’s about to fall off a cliff to me. If this were 5 years ago I’d be all over this. I’m completely indifferent at this point. He’s a pretty good starting QB now IMO. The days of shredding the Bills and the league are over. He’s still good enough to win on a good team (SF) but he’s not carrying anybody again. Edited March 5, 2020 by Kirby Jackson 5

He can thank the 49'ers defense and running game for his Win-Loss record. When Garoppolo throws interceptions, he throws terrible looking interceptions, and lots of near interceptions. He is not worth a first round pick, not even a 2nd round pick.

You're right about Jimmy G and the proof was right there in the Super Bowl. He had a lead in the 4Q and couldn't get it done. He was terrible on those last few drives and it cost them the game. Of course, he's still young and might improve. Brady gives them one year...two at the outside. So they pretty much need to draft his replacement this year or next and that won't be easy picking in the 30s. So it comes down to 'do we go all in for a Super Bowl, or do we stay the course for the long term'. Tough call for SF, but it's the only place other than NE there is any possibility of Brady playing IMO.

My money is on Belicheck having a plan...and interesting that Brady has people carrying water for him. Perhaps it's Dalton or someone who'll give them an experienced QB. I wish more people understood that everyone has an angle they're trying to exploit. And that's what Brady is doing here. Reminds me of Derek Jeter getting upset near the end of his career when the Yankees wanted to offer less than the ~20M per he'd been paid. That said, Brady's taken less for multiple years and sees QB pay exploding now.

I think it would be absolutely hilarious if he goes to SF. I would love to see who has the better year without each other: Brady or Belichick. I mean Brady isn’t what he was but I think people are kinda overrating how “bad” he was. NE’s skill players kinda sucked last year. 37 minutes ago, MJS said: He had plenty of stellar games too.
