DasNootz
I really don't see RB as a need worth giving up any future picks for with this roster - compared to holes at Edge rusher, WR, OL etc.

Chicharito
I say if he can be had for a 4th or lower so be it. But no crazy extension. Won’t hurt to have a bounce to the outside rb.

TOboy
It's not a NEED, but if it's for a mid round pick, we have the cap space, why not? I love Gore, but it's not like he's the answer. A Singletary/Gordon backfield would be more than solid moving forward. I'd like to think we'd come to terms on a reasonable extension before pulling the trigger though. jahnyc
Wouldn't they get a third rounder as a compensatory pick if he leaves as a free agent after the season (I recognize that there may be other factors)? If this is the case, then the Chargers are going to want at least a third rounder in this year's draft.

Mango
Am I the only one who would: 1. Be happy to have a real feature back on this offense to help JA and.... 2. Worried about giving up assets for a UFA next year and... 3. Wonder WTF was the point of releasing Shady, to just go ahead and trade assets, mid season, for his replacement. The FO is botching the RB position this year, almost as badly as they botched the QB room in 2018...

That’s an odd position to take. At any rate, it makes sense from where I’m sitting assuming the price is right. He scored 38 TDs between 2016 and the start of this season. He ha averaged 106 scrimmage yards a game in that same span. The Bills lack playmakers. He makes this team better. 4 1

Blank Stare
Don’t get the hype for this guy. Yes, he’s had a few good years of TD production. But...guy has been injured too frequently, and a sub 4.0 YPC rusher every year in the league except last year. Only topped 1K once. It’s not even the pick for me if they can do it for a mid rounder. It’s the contract. I’m not paying this dude what he thinks he’s worth. We just freed ourselves from that nightmare. Why go back? Draft a back with a mid round pick, use him up, let someone else pay them. Wash, rinse, repeat. Edited October 28, 2019 by TheProcess 2

Iverwig
This does not make sense because the Bills do not run the ball that much. They also have a rookie drafted in the 3rd round who barely touches the ball.

HappyDays
I'll believe it when I see it. This wouldn't be the first time an agent has randomly linked Buffalo and Detroit to a trade to boost their client's value. There are a lot of proposed trade ideas that make sense but this one doesn't seem to fit.
blacklabel
Has anyone seen anything from the local media guys about this stuff? Those guys would have a better line on these types of things but I don't believe any of them have said they've heard anything regarding a trade for Gordon. Seems odd to me that they'd cut a high priced RB just to trade for one and then pay him in a similar manner.
