Obviously Duke was activated to the roster, but did he practice with the 1st team offense all week? How does that work being activated a day before a game? No wr is injured and there are 6 other WRs. You expect him to go from PS to first string? He should get decent play time but expectations may be a little out of whack.

US Egg
Hope this will end the incessant "Duke" babble in here. Then of course there'll still be the redundant threads/posts clamoring for all too often injured and expensive A.J. Green and overrated & overpaid Stephon Diggs..... And there'll be more must gets they'll bellyache about. 1

So either Zay, Foster or McKenzie is likely inactive. I hope it's Zay. We don't know if Foster is 100% although he has been practicing. If they want to shop Zay I don’t think they would inactivate him- Foster more likely?

The common argument against him is “he was playing against inferior competition” the argument for him is “he has produced when given the opportunity”. Stay tuned, someone is about to be declared the winner in the next couple of weeks. I’m starting the crows on the grill now, there will be plenty to be ate regardless of Duke’s performance. jwhit34
My prediction is that one of three things happens with Duke: 1. He takes snaps away from Foster, not Zay Jones 2. He gets less than 15 plays total (less than 20% of snaps) 3. He is inactive tomorrow As a result the posters here at TBD have a collective nuclear meltdown. The Frankish Reich
He fell all the way to the CFL based on perceived character issues. Then he kept his nose clean and worked his tail off for this chance. I don’t know if he’s all that some of our posters think (hope?) he is, but I’ll be pulling for him to make it.

ChicagoRic
Congrats to Duke for working and grinding and blocking during preseason and then continuing to do so on the practice squad. Didn't look great in training camp, but when the pads went on and the hitting began, it was game on. There are speed guys, finesse guys and human joysticks. He is none of those. He's a physical guy. A (dirty word on the modern NFL, but I'm gonna say it) "possession" receiver. Props to the scouting staff for finding an off the radar, left field pickup. Now he gets his much delayed chance in the real NFL. Will he succeed? No clue, but I'm an optimist who loves a good underdog story. 3

Nelius
Prayers have been answered. All aboard the hype train, I may even pick up Duke in my fantasy league. Foster was a nice story, but I'd much rather see more Duke and McKenzie than Zay or Foster at this point. Brown-Beasley-Duke-McKenzie, that's a pretty nice group. Foster is a bit banged up...went from full to limited on the injury report Friday...wouldn't surprise me to see Foster on the inactive list Sunday...I can see his snap count being dependent on 1- how often they enter red zone, 2 - whether or not a message is being sent to Zay
