Obviously this is a joke, but I think it's more likely than not that he'll come back. The Patriots will literally do whatever it takes to get that last SB. I think this is it for them.

That's why it will be so glorious when they fail in the AFC Championship Game, preserving the Bills' record four straight Super Bowl appearances in the process.

Why would you think that. They just retooled in the draft, 6 picks in the first few rounds. Josh Gordon, young quality RB's , great defense and Brady looked as good as ever against Pitt. They're not going away.

It was most likely a joke...dude is not in football shape at all and would likely not pass a drug test as he is a CBD spokesperson who likely has used it as well...nothing wrong with CBD oil but you almost always will test positive for marijuana

Of course he is. Mentioned before that I don't get the too skinny commentary when these freaks have access to the best nutrition and fitness professionals in the world. Eric Wood was just talking last Sunday about how Ryan Kalil lost and then regained like 40 pounds to come back for week 1 after he retired. Gronk will be back if he wants to.

Yes. Plus their bodies still have the muscle and conditioning memory. The layoff has not been that long. The turnaround can be fairly rapid.

Well this is interesting....

Robert Kraft reportedly told Rob Gronkowski he wants him back for a Patriots playoff run

Quote

Owner Robert Kraft walked up to him to say goodbye. According to sources, Kraft delivered a clear and concise message that would resonate for months.

Kraft told Gronkowski that he wants him to return for November, December, and a playoff run. If that happened, the team not only would welcome him back but would remain hopeful that it happens.

Time is running out for Gronk to make a return. According to the rules, the last day for Gronkowski and the team to agree to grant him an official return to the roster would be Saturday, Nov. 30 -- the day before the team's Week 13 game.
