FeelingOnYouboty
This kid is good. I'm glad he's finally getting burn. The Panthers found a steal in Andrew Norwell a few years ago and that's who Wyatt Teller reminds me of. You can take LG off the draft board if he has a good finish to the season.

shoretalk
It seems Juan wants Juan's boys … Obviously when your OL coach impacts who plays and how they play. If we are looking for a change that is overdue with the Bills it is in the person coaching the OL but didn't Teller look awesome yesterday (Albeit it was the Jets.) doing things VLAD never does. Let's see what he does against the Jag's line but having a solid guard next to him can only elevate Dawkins game.

Antonio
Everybody keepo saying it was jsut the Jets, but they have a good D, and their D-line its really good. I didn´t pay much attention to the o-line yesterday, but if it didin´t pup up it means they played really good. No stupid penalties, good run game and enough time to pass. I think they all play good. 3

MJS
Teller seemed to have a really good preseason, so I've been hoping they would let him play. Good to see that they finally gave him a shot and that he played well. It would be a huge boost if next off-season we don't have to address starting LG. 1

Not to detract from this but the Jets DL is most certainly not good anymore. Always watch the Jets games with a buddy of mine who is a Jets fan and one thing I asked him is "guy, what happened to your DL? Our OL is not this good." To which he said with the exception of Leonard Williams, they don't generate a pass rush and only do well on runs with 7/8 man boxes. Since losing Mo Wilk, they've lost an identity upfront, but more importantly he said Bowles isn't getting the job done and his seat is one of the hottest in the league. Again, he isn't an expert, but just from being with them week in and out, I saw what he was saying. I think the OL played well yesterday, and I'm just as excited to watch Teller's All-22 to see if we hit something there. But either way, let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet. Elite Poster
He did well. Don't want to jump to conclusions because we have had these moments with other players before, but holy hell, can we stop with the coach favoritism on this team? We got Vlad Suckasse shoved down our throats for 2 years and finally he gets replaced and boom. Night and day. McDumbnuts finally benches Peterman (yeah, shocker, bench the worst QB of all time) and the offense looks acceptable.

BADOLBILZ
IMO the best looking first game by a Bills rookie interior O-lineman since Ruben Brown manhandled Michael Dean Perry in his debut in the opener at Denver in 1995.

K-9
Outstanding debut as a starter to say the least. It helped that the offense was in manageable down/distance most of the game and the defense had to respect that. Not sure I understand the criticism for not starting him earlier. While his run blocking has always been strong, he was a mess in pass protection in preseason and it was obvious he needed work in that area. And the shear amount of learning and playbook study required for an OLman, especially for rookies, is a lot to absorb as well. Looks like his technique has improved greatly; certainly enough to earn the coaches' confidence moving forward. As much as we want to castigate Castillo, his work with Teller and the improvement seen would suggest he's not as clueless a coach as we might think.

ndirish1978
Dawkins/Teller should be set for the next 8 years on the left side of the O-line. Unfortunately we need starters at the other 3 positions.

I never understood Teller being regulated to the bench by the coaches (OL is one of the positions I know a little bit about) and I saw the potential from day one of training camp......I dont put a lot of stock in the combine because it not real football....... Teller has it.....he is mobile...powerful.....and likes to finish guys. PPL are hoping they found the next cog.....I present that we actually got the cog that was getting on in years...Teller is a ROOKIE and can be a foundation of this offensive line for years....he is that guy that keeps getting better and then i worthy of a decent contract when it is time.....pairing him with Dawkins looks like it could work out. I would NOT just consider the OL finished......I would still draft one.....I would still sign a free agent for the RG spot. Beans last 2 drafts are actually not looking that bad Beane's only had one draft fwiw. As for Teller, give him time to establish himself as that type of player first. We still have no idea how his development will go, but I'm thrilled for it to be trending positively. This guy is a late round rookie and by any NFL average standard wouldn't see the field this year. Our OL play has been atrociously below average which has led to him seeing time this year. He's an absolute monster in the run game, but his pass pro still needs much work against the NFL stunts and blitzes, but he's shown he can handle himself for the most part. His footwork still needs work in pass pro, and needs to work on his recovery/switches, but otherwise has shown the framework for potential. For him to be playing, at all, is remarkable and says a lot about our team at present. And for him to be playing as well as he is right now given that context is nothing short of amazing. Our OL is by no way or means set after one full game from a 5th round rookie. But if we do end up hitting on him, what a blessing it could be. When Teller wasn't in the mix to start at the beginning of the season I just assumed he didn't have a good grasp of his assignments which normally is a playing time killer. It would be nice if they can find a couple more interior lineman like him late in the 2019 draft, that's for sure.
