MarlinTheMagician
What a game by the young man, eh? Between him and Edmunds - an awful lot of speed at linebacker. And what, about 10-12 starts between them? Give it a year.
NewEra
He was awesome today. All over the place doing everything. Tred was a monster as well I really love Lorenzo Alexander. I hope we resign him. He’s playing much better at the SAM than he was last year while bringing the heat on the QB when asked oir LBs looked dam good the last 6 quarters

Gross, I dont want Zo in coverage. However I like him as our "thumper," when rushing or plugging a running gap. Milano and Edmunds are our speed/coverage guys but they are not going to be the hard hitters in the gaps
Kelly the Dog
Several games last year Milano would make one or two highlight kind of plays and people thought he had a good or great game when he didn't. Today, he made the four nice plays AND he had a very good all around game on the non highlight reel plays. Although, granted, virtually everyone on the defense played very well. MarlinTheMagician
Milano was a rookie last year. He is only getting better. He has not even started a full season's worth of games.
GoodHands15
I feel good for Milano. But feel like he’s just nothing outstanding. Maybe it’s 5th round pick bias. But we could use some upgrades to the right and left of Tremaine McStudmunds...imo Edited September 24, 2018 by GoodHands15
TigerJ
I'm OK with Zo playing another year, but Buffalo needs to plan of adding a young strong side backer with starting potential, because you neven know whan a guy Zo's age is going to hit the wall, or get injured. He’s playing much better at the SAM than he was last year while bringing the heat on the QB when asked oir LBs looked dam good the last 6 quarters I love Lorax as a specialty all around player. Obviously Milano and Edumonds are projected to be 3 down line backers. Both Milano and Edumonds can play the run and are fast enough to defend the short and intermediate pass game. Lorax however is a little exposed against the pass. But as an early down LB and as a pass rush specialist he has value. Not to mention the positive force he is in the locker room. MarlinTheMagician
Edmunds and Milano! I trust McDermott to use Lorax correctly. One more LB to go with Edmunds and Milano would be nice next year.

Mark Vader
Milano has looked good all season. I was concerned at first because he looked unimpressive during preseason. He covers a lot of the field. I don't know what happened to our defense in the last 6 quarters, but I love it.

CLTbills
The whole kicking the ball to himself while laying on his back thing was pretty cool. Kids a helluva playmaker. Buffalo_Stampede
Wow, what a performance. One of the best LB performances by a Bill that I can remember. Royale with Cheese
He might have had one of the best games in Bills history in regard to linebackers. Sack, fumble recovery, INT, two pass breaks ups and 12 total tackles in one game. That's insane in the mebrane (insane in the brain) Edited September 24, 2018 by Royale with Cheese
Boatdrinks
Milano showed more of what he was last season in games such as vs OAK. The D as a whole can take a bow after this one. With all the stuff you hear about a trap game and taking a team lightly, I’m not buying it. MIN has plenty of talent up and down their roster and had 55 minutes to wake up and get their head out of their posterior.

msw2112
In college at BC, Milano was the "viper" in DC Don Brown's defense. The viper is hybrid linebacker/safety position that is the key to Brown's defense. He usually puts his best athlete in that role. I think that BC's defense was #1 in the country Milano's senior year. Brown left BC and went to Michigan, where Jabril Peppers (Heisman finalist, 1st round pick and starting safety for the Browns) became his next viper. I was really excited with the Bills drafted Milano and it is great to see him fulfilling his potential, as he did in college. Hopefully, he can maintain this level of play and have a successful career. For a 5th round pick, the returns are looking pretty good right now. LSHMEAB
Matt Milano makes plays. I don't want to hear the old school nonsense about "holding up against the run" etc. In this day and age, you need linebackers and edge players flying around the football. Milano is the lone young player who does just that. Seems to me they made a calculated decision to be more aggressive overall and it worked. They need to keep that up. Sitting back in zone and playing safe defensive football does not work anymore.
