Do all these players have to clear waivers or only ones with a certain number of years?

Non vested vets have to clear waivers prior to any PS signing. We are 21st priority for Waivered players (think they announce those at 4pm tomorrow)

Vested Vets can sign immediately.

What about for the purpose of putting them on a 53 man roster?

There is an easy solution to that: throw the ball in bounds.

When they threw it to him in bounds he had a BIG problem with tracking it. He didnt seem to have a problem catching it out of bounds though. He has talent but a needs to develop. Seeing he didnt do crap in college, He is a long shot in the NFL. Maybe he can help on ST. That may be his spot in the NFL.

I swear I read on TSW that Zay Jones would be cut. Can any confirm this!?

Surprised streater didn't make it.

Also, does this mean that the only UDFA that made it was Foster?

Looks like it. Wallace was drafted at one point right?

Edit nvm he got cut too

I liked o'leary. Guy is a gamer and reliable.

I didn’t mind him. Crooms and Thomas just looked very good and we are stuck without Clay for this year.

That happens during season with Robbing PS players.

I know that but i meant do they have to clear waivers if a team wants to immediately sign them to their 53 man roster and release one of their own players?

"When an NFL team releases a player who has less than four years of NFL service, he is subject to the waiver wire process. NFL players who are released and have four or more years of accrued time in the league become immediate free agents. Accrued seasons are earned by being on the active 53-man roster for a team for six games in a single regular season, or being on an injury list for six games in a regular season. "-SB NATION

Sept. 2  Claiming period for players placed on waivers at the final roster reduction will expire at 12:00 noon, New York time.
Upon receipt of the Personnel Notice at approximately 1:00 p.m., New York time, clubs may establish a Practice Squad of 10 players (clubs participating in the International Player Development Program may sign one additional international player to a Practice Player Contract.) No club, including the player’s prior club, will be permitted to sign a player to a Practice Player Contract until all clubs have received simultaneous notification via the above Personnel Notice that such player’s prior NFL player contract has been terminated via the waiver system.
